Nice short walk from the Lakes Entrance esplanade to get a nice view of the sandbanks and pipeline. The beautiful waters and blue colours of the water and all the water activities. Easy walk.

The high view from Lakes Entrance Lookout was absolutely gorgeous. Nice photos from the lookout for whole lakes entrance. The esplanade in lakes entrance also a nice place to have a walk during the day or arvo. Across the foot bridge access to hiking track to the flagstaff lookout will definitely a good choice to do it around sunset . But make sure you get yourself enough time to walk back to the footbridge or bring yourself a torch. There will be no light in the bush if you walk back after sunset. There will be a Ferris wheel close to the foot bridge at night time and nice photos can be taken there. Lots of jetty around can have fun fishing with kids . One thing need to be aware most of the restaurant will be closed at 8-830pm . Boat Hire will not be operate during windy day for safety issue , so make sure you check the weather forecast when planning your journey if you want hire a boat with kids or family . Lakes Entrance i just a nice and fun place for your family holiday . We will definitely go back next summer .

Great views of lakes entrance waterway from here. Short stop before reaching the attractions at lakes entrance. The view gives you better understanding of the water way where you can take your rented boats to. The boat rentals and other attractions aren’t that far from this stop. So a quick stop here is well worth before entering to lakes entrance.

Great lookout with views forever. Gives you a good idea of the lay of the land or should I say sea port.

Very interesting to see the whole lake entrance from the top view. It would be better if we go on a sunny day. There is good parking area right in front of the lookout.

Such a beautiful place. Lots of sea connected lakes. Beautiful beaches and lovely cafes. Nice place to connect with nature and enjoy the walk, yoga and meditation, or just sit and enjoy gazing natural beauty.

Loves this place
The view was amazing and the weather spectacular. A really nice romantic spot or a great place to grab some fish and chips and go have a bite to eat as there are benches and tables there as well. 10/10 go there if you can and get the chance to.

Great place to look out over the entrance at the ocean and surrounding waterways. You may also be lucky to catch some dolphins swimming past.

Lookout located right next to the main road. Parking for long vehicles too. Busy spot at sunset. A little inhibited by tress but still amazing views.

Great views from this lookout. Well worth the stop to check out the views. On a nice day you can see the oil drilling platforms on the horizon. It's a shame the removed the Compass when they renovated the lookout ?

Beautiful lake along with never ending ninty mile beach as well as beautiful combination of green and blue view point with fresh seafood. Especially suitable for kids with boat tour in lake of 3 hrs with and with out meal.
Local beer and fish is on of speciality of this Place.

What a beautiful lookout, must stop by for taking some pictures. It is just a side stop off the main road, really easy to access & can see beautiful lakes entrance view. Must visit if you are nearby.
