I purchased a beautiful 9ct white gold necklace with a gorgeous pendant. Very happy with the service. The owners' daughter I believe her name is Melissa...was very helpful in understanding exactly what I wanted, and helped me achieve the purchase by making it possible in every way. She is a kind a very professional lady. Thankyou I highly recommend this jewellery store, you can be sure to purchase exellent quality jewellery here.

As a loyal customer for over 17 years, I feel like this review needs to stand for something. I began shopping at Evita when working in retail at Highpoint and needed a place to purchase affordable and on trend pieces of jewellery for upcoming 18ths and 21sts. I have continued to shop there because, for as long as I can remember, the ladies in that store both Mel and Deb have always given me the time of day without any pushy sales tactics. They have supported me in finding many pieces for momentous occasions such as christenings and most recently, my wedding. They went above and beyond to steer me in the direction of a ring designer and even resized my wedding band that was intricate, without losing any of it's shape or design. If you're after an honest review with the only connection that was created by shopping there, then this is it. It's affordable, it's trustworthy and its family run and doesn't need misleading reviews.

Wasn't expecting much especially after reading the reviews posted but ended up having one of the genuinely best experiences in a while and am so glad that I walked in while at Highpoint recently. Thank you again and will definitely be going back.

Absolutely love coming to your Highpoint store, the girls are so lovely and up lifting, they are always so welcoming and helpful, the store manager MeIissa has always been more than helpful as I’ve been shopping at Evita for 7 years she has been the one I have kept coming back for my purchases. I was in the store the day Patrick Wong was, I overheard the incident and I felt so sorry for the way she was treated, as a customer the way he was speaking to her was abupt and demeaning. She was cornered that why the other staff member took over. I was appalled at the way some people treat others when they are unhappy with a purchase.
As for the other complaint I have known Melissa on a professional level for many years, as well as her family and her father is not scared of her.

Fantastic customer service and a great variety of jewellery. Have purchased a few Von Treskow products from here and the service is always great.

Went in this morning to see if I needed to re-dip my earrings and the lady was so lovely, she gave them a good clean and they were literally good as new. Will definitely be back for some more jewellery :) I also bought a necklace last night just before they closed and walked out without my phone! The lady called out for me and handed it back - thank you again!!

Absolutely amazing customer service. Melissa was so friendly and she repaired a very sentimental necklace when noone else in highpoint could. She also helped me select a beautiful pair of earrings for my girlfriend. Definitely will be returning here in the future.

Fantastic customer service! I had some issues with my brackets and the ladies at Evita fixed them, and then exchanged them and were so so helpful. Such lovely people and beautiful jewellery I cannot recommend them enough. Will definitely continue to use them!

I rarely write reviews but as someone who also works in retail and understands the importance of great customer service I was prompted to write this after my experience yesterday. I was in your Highpoint store when I overheard a conversation between a customer and the owner’s daughter Melissa. Melissa was so rude to this customer that, even though I had money in my pocket to buy two gifts, I walked out. There was no way you were getting my business after that conversation. I was disgusted by her tone and attitude. If you’re wondering why business has been quiet, your answer lies in Melissa. Many times I walked past the store and she sat there on her phone looking miserable. She was not welcoming at all and just because she is the owner’s daughter she does not have the right to treat customers that way. We, the consumers, keep you in business. Unfortunately, from reading your reviews and my experience yesterday I now understand why you’re so quiet in your stores. Customer service doesn’t seem to be the field she’s suited to. And that was VERY evident yesterday. Remember … ownership of a store doesn’t bring you “entitlement”. Very disappointed - people like her give retail workers a bad reputation. Luckily we’re not all like that …

The customer service at this store is below standard (and very much in line with other reviews left). Rude and unhelpful. No doubt if I say anything about what happened or the rude sale assistant, the store will just respond with a comment that I am bullying her so not worth the trouble. I spent over $150 on a gold bracelet that had broken on 4 occasions within 2 months and suffered significant tarnishing despite a lack of wear. Upon taking this back and requesting for a replacement, they failed to show any empathy or recognition of fault on their behalf.

After being completely unsatisfied with the lack of courtesy and being told to take it up with consumer affairs I went to another Evita store and was so happy with the response provided by them. Just shows that customer service does make a difference. Never shopping at Evita Highpoint ever again and would never recommend it to anyone else (sorry if that is considered bullying but its the truth)!

walked in the store just to browse and potentially buy something, when asking the sales assistant for prices or different pieces she was very blunt and rude, not helpful or friendly at all. i work in sales too so i do understand having a bad day or not feeling it, but it gives the store a bad energy. massive shame considering how pretty the stores stock is!

Wish I could give Evita Highpoint zero stars. Disgusted by Melissa’s customer service. A very unpleasant person. Perhaps consider a role that is not customer facing instead.

The lady that works here is so rude (young with brown and grey hair). Could not give a basic customer service. I think she has some sort of mental health issue. I did not feel welcomed at all as if I was bothering her. Im sorry but I don't know if she owns the place or someone hires her? But seriously, no one is stupid enough to spend a penny at this store as long as that lady is still working. Most disgusted experience.

Updated Post. As we all process the horrific events at Bondi Junction I was reflecting on my own experience of sudden, unexpected violence from Melissa at Evita four years ago. I happened to look at their reviews and noticed the many other adverse posts about her. This prompted me to share the experience. The subsequent reply from the business - likely written by one of Melissa’s parents - is absolutely untrue. I did NOT push my pram into anyone or attack anyone. Melissa and her mum took offence to where the pram was parked in front of their store for a minute or two. As I stood with my child, Melissa grabbed and dragged the pram about 10m through the middle of the shopping centre. I yelled at her to stop and as I went to retrieve it she started throwing punches and grabbed at me in front of the onlookers who by then had stopped to see what was happening. After a few moments she went back into the shop and I immediately called the police. The response from security, the on-site PSOs, centre management and the police was all professional and kind. I asked to have the CCTV footage retrieved, which they did. The biggest question I struggled with was WHY she reacted so aggressively to such a minor thing. The responding police offered me some perspective - not an excuse - that helped me rationalise it. 2020 was a tough Covid year. Interpersonal aggression had risen. We weren’t to know what unseen psychological or emotional pressures she might have been dealing with leading up to the incident. I ultimately decided to let it go and be at peace.
