Fantastic bush camp, good price with nice facilities and fire pit with camp oven. Hot Air Balloons landing in the paddock every morning, which is great. Such a nice community. Highly recommend.

A great open space to park up for a few days and enjoy the serenity. You don't get much for your money, but for $10 it is perfect. A huge open paddock, with a couple horses and cows wandering around. Nice change to all the huge stations we've visited previously and then got crammed into tiny sites smaller than caravan parks... Balloons would have been a bonus, but we missed them!

Absolutely loved our 2 weeks time here. David the host is very social and happy to help with your needs.

Our family loved staying here! Unfortunately it was only 2 nights. If we had known how peaceful and stress free it was we would have planned to stay a lot longer. Dave goes above and beyond as the host/ owner and we can’t wait to go back. I would highly recommend others to stay here.

What an absolute gem, park your s/c caravan for $10 p/n. Gather round the fire pit at night, owner Dave is such a great host and very interesting character. We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday evening when Dave makes his Damper and entertained us with stories from his mustering days and bush lore! Quiet and peaceful, safely leave your van to explore!

Ringers Rest in Mareeba is such a great location for a wedding! As a wedding photographer I noticed a lot of amazing places for photos around the property. I would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue if you’re considering a unique space with an outback feel ( All photos by Monica Kristin Photography )

Spent a wonderful 9 days here at Ringers Rest, only planned on spending 3 days but it was so peaceful and there was plenty of space to spread out. Dave is a great guy and story teller. The park is well located to explore the many sights, including Kuranda, Emerald Falls, Barron Falls, Little Davies Falls, Clohesy River Fig and the Bunda Bibandji caves and rock paintings, and the occasional hot air balloons overhead. Looking forward to our next visit.

WOW, what A great place, Dave Thankyou for sharing your land to us travellers. Your serene bush setting is perfect for those that need to re generate. While travelling and holidaying is great sometimes it get a bit tiresome and full on. Here you are surrounded by nature, wild life. Horses and cows..such picturesque views, and the sky at night firstly sunset, then later on a spectacular show from the twinkling stars above if you watch long enough you may be suprised at what you see. This beats any caravan park we have stayed in, and even the rest stops along the way.. we have been on the road 18 months and so far this is our best stop of, and trust me we have been to some pretty great spots..we will return.

Do yourself a favour and stay here. Was fantastic and Dave is such a great bloke.

Have been to several functions here and Tammy and Dave are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble and they are super friendly. The setting is outback rustic and just gorgeous. Dresses up beautifully for a wedding!
