Great location and excellent food. The chicken parma was one of the best I’ve ever had, along with great chips and salad. Ice cold beer topped off a great dinner.

Great meals from a varied menu. Hard to get a drink and a smile from the bar staff. Lovely setting. Lots of parking. The view makes it an outstanding place to relax.

First dinner when we arrived here at Lakes Entrance for the Mother’s Day weekend. The service is wonderful and the food was excellent. We love the Prawns with rice and bread, so flavourful and perfect match. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the seared scallops, superb!

Great food, great show and a great night in all. Thanks to the Blues Brothers for coming down and the Kalimna Crew for putting on a good feed. Very entertaining. 👍

We had a great night went to actually try their pizza and it was amazing! Very very pleasant staff will definately be going back again soon.

Enjoyed our work Christmas party here last Friday night. Great location! The service was awesome! The kitchen staff were under the pump and still delivered consistent, delicious and hot meals to all of us there (our group was approximately 100 people).
I highly recommend the Kalimna Hotel and will be back again. Thank you to all staff working that night. Kerri

Very nicely prepared classics like a great chicken parmigiana or lamb rump with a bit of extra flare, you won't go home hungry but if you can fit dessert in the chocolate creamaux was amazing.

Superb food and service here. The settings are clean, well lighted and nice.

We had the beef ribs which was superb... Very tender, with meat falling off the bone and full of flavour.

The Beer Braised Beef Cheeks were also very lean but very flavourful.

Absolutely must try.

Best place to eat in lakes. Might be out of the CBD but definitely worth it, take advantage of the curtesy bus because the cocktails are delicious. house made tzatziki was amazing. presentation of food is impressive. Chefs and kitchen staff take pride in there work. I'll be coming back!!

Visited Kalimna Hotel as I worked here nearly 30 years ago. Still the best view around. Staff very friendly and meal of calamari was delish. And Charlie the lab was a beautiful dog 🐕.

One of the amazing hotel in this area for those who visits to Lakes Entrance.The entrees were so good and quick.The Trio of dips with the 3 unique sauces were just mind blowing and the fresh calamari as well.The garlic prawn rice was just amazing.And talking about drinks the secret identity cocktail was so magnificent and so amazing with the flavour of pomegranate and ginger.Eventually we ordered sticky date pudding and brownie.The brownie was good but the sticky date pudding was just next level.The sticky date was one of the best dessert which i’ve ever had in the Melbourne.Thanks to amazing chefs,front staffs.You did an amazing job.Thanks for your service.Will see you again.

Great place for informal but excellent food, served by super friendly staff and with a great lakeside location. There's even roaring fires to keep the spring chill at bay. Word of warning though, these portions come big! Rib eye is actually a Tomahawk (half a kilo or more), and when I asked if I could get a few scallops off the mains menu as a starter, 8 arrived with fries - not that I'm complaining, just bring a good appetite!

An unassuming turn off opens to a glorious sunset view overlooking the lakes. With most tables situated along windows with views the food was delicious. Both our steak and schnitzel had such exceptional flavour one would think it was organic.

Came for dinner as we are staying in the free camp out the back and the owner recommended the Chefs Menu. I couldn't go past the Lamb Rump. It was the best meal I've ever eaten in my whole life. The service is great, the beers are cold and the views are outstanding.

Great View. Food is great with decent, pub-sized portions. Parma is one of the best going around, obviously pan fried and not deep fried like other local venues. Highlight on our table was the beef ribs - how do you get the meat to melt like that! The Prime Rib steak was a close second, a very nice Chimichurri sauce on the side.

Service was great, the young man who waited on our table could do with a shave - that Abe Lincoln "beard" needs to go! :-)
