Delicious food & absolutely incredible service 🥰

We got some dishes to share between 6 of us:
- Fish & chips: all fried perfectly, fish was still juicy & chips were crisp & well-seasoned
- Ragu Gnocchi: cheesy, rich, & pasta was sooo soft!
- Beef brisket burger: meat super soft & juicy with a yummy sauce & perfect accompaniments inside (everyone really loved this one!) & plenty of fries
- Croque monsieur: so cheesy & well balanced, pickles inside delish and not overpowering
- Basque cheesecake: not too sweet, & came with cream added a nice freshness

Also got coffees which were great too!

On top of this, the customer service was fantastic and the staff/owners were so kind & lovely/friendly 🥹
& we loved the atmosphere of the cafe too

Couldn’t believe when they told me they’d only been open for 3-4 months because it’s a place that feels like it’s been there forever and a staple!

Only thing was my mocha didn’t come with any chocolate powder on top but I don’t doubt they would’ve put some on had I asked, but I still really enjoyed it :)

Absolutely amazing food & service. Menu was interesting & catered to different dietary requirements - I am a vegetarian & there were many options available. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for an a la carte style breakfast experience, look no further.

What a great spot to spend a lazy afternoon.
Kathy was warm and welcoming and Chloe a delight.
The food was just delicious and very tasty. The dishes were well presented and my charred corn and rice salad was scrumpdiddlyumptious. I could have had a double serving of it. My husband's burger was moist and beautifully cooked.
Our friends also enjoyed their fish and chips too
We had a really enjoyable time here.
The coffee was spot on!
Looking forward to returning for breakfast one day.

Best sandwich of my entire trip to Australia! So so good! We went back the next day to get the same one and actually got 3 for our road trip to Bright. New owner was very friendly and nice to chat with.

Great coffee and must try their fish and chips as not oily. Highly recommended cafe and lovely new owners!

My husband and I decided to have lunch at the Lakes Boatshed as we had heard glowing reviews about the new management. We were not disappointed! There is plenty of delicious options on offer on the menu, catering to all dietary requirements and that is just the icing on the cake. The service was extremely friendly and the team could not be more accomodating. Will be back to try the breakfast menu and one of the many delicious smoothies on the menu!

I recently had lunch at Lakes Boatshed Cafe, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. I opted for the fish and chips, and they exceeded all expectations. The fish was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, accompanied by golden fries that were just right. The attentive staff and prompt service further enhanced my visit. If I could give it six stars, I would – Lakes Boatshed Cafe truly deserves the extra accolade for their outstanding food and overall dining experience.
I will be back!

We only had coffee and it was extremely good but the food looked delicious. We chatted to the owners as they once lived in WA. They were very friendly and the cafe is located across the road from the water. We were visiting from WA.

We were heading back to Melbourne from Merimbula and stopped by Lakes Entrance for lunch.

We happened to find Lakes Boatshed and decided to give it a try and we didn’t regret our choice. The food was really good, the ambiance warm and the owner herself came and chatted with us.

We were too busy eating and didn’t manage to take photos of the food but they were really good! Coffee was also excellent.

Highly recommended and we would come back if we were in Lakes Entrance again.

Solid food at a fair price, enjoyed the lunch specials. The chips were especially good. Loved sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful day.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very chilled and laid back! Will definitely be back. Well done to the new owners, you are certainly making a good name for yourselves and the business!

My hubby and I have been twice this holiday season. First visit was for a coffee and the awesome scones, delish….
Next visit was for brunch so we shared the fish n chips, they were amazing and very filling. Chloe the chef is always relaxed and smiling, the staff are great and the space is awesome to have a chat. The cafe has a very relaxed vibe. We will be returning. Great little spot. Thank you

Great place to stop by for lunch! We were traveling in a group of 10 and the workers were really kind to sought out a table for all of us to sit together. Nice workers and good portion of food. Everything about this place is great.

This place is amazing.Food is always varied and tasty.
But what makes this place so enjoyable to dine in , is the lovely service provided by Kathy & Brendan… and the beautiful food prepared by Chloe.

The people who own this cafe are kind, courteous and friendly with fab service. We ordered the local fish, chips and salad, the food was fresh well cooked and a generous serving. We drove our boat right up to the little beach across the road. If you are looking for the cafe from the water it’s about 100 meters past Aldi if you are coming in from the lakes.
