Somerset on Elizabeth Melbourne

This place is walking distance to all the downtown shops. The fabulous Melbourne library is a block away (seriously go check it out) and of course food is just around the corner.
We rented a suite at a very affordable price and they provided a cot for our little love. The room was clean and spacious. Every time we entered the lobby, we were greeted with a smile.
My only complaint (which is nothing on the company) is the lighted billboard outside the window is awful. Make sure to close the curtains well.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was a bit old but clean and tidy. Aircon system might be confusing for some people but they are happy to help you to set it.

The staff was great and friendly especially Nick, they are really helpful with everything you need.

They also provide parking for $35 per 24hrs.

Also if you have infant or toddler, they are happy to provide you with high chair and cot with no extra fees.

It’s highly recommended.

My stay at Somerset was really cool, easy and smooth. The staff are all very friendly and lend a helping hand as soon as you request them. Most of the city attractions are nearby, which is amazingly convenient! I’m glad I chose this place to stay.

Great location in the heart of the city connected to Emporium and 2 mins walking distance to Myers, David Jones, 5 mins to Melbourne Central and Chinatown. Rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommend this place.

We have stayed here many times and initially the central location was the main draw card. Over time we have come to appreciate the extra space in the rooms and the facilities available. The staff are always efficient and pleasant and we will continue to return

The studio apartment was well equipped with a comfortable king size bed, a generous living room, a small kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The staff was really helpful and friendly too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! 😊

Couple of thoughts if you require any assistance in getting out of bed pack a bed frame they flat pack. Great location in city.

One of the most comfy king beds ever! Stayed in Deluxe studio which actually had a separate bedroom and living room. Kitchenette with dishwasher. Bathroom also contains laundry.
Location is unbeatable for city shopping, just around corner from Little Bourke Street.
Amazingly pet friendly. Property has roof top area where your dog can exercise and play . Supervised of course!
For humans, there's a spa and gym. Great hotel and great rates. Fantastic!

Very good location and spacious apartment rooms . We had our flight canceled and had to stay an additional night the front office reception went out of their way to accommodate us given it was the weekend. We were lucky enough to have the same room great hospitality experience

I was really surprised at the size of the rooms and they more resembled furnished apartments than actual rooms. I was not expecting the rooms to be as big as they were, and with a layout comprising of a seperate living area, a bedroom, kitchen with full size fridge and the ability to wash your clothes with your own machine machine, all smack bang in the middle of the CBD, I was really impressed.
I highly recommend you check this hotel out if your planning a city stay.

The room was clean and the washing machine and dryer was an awesome bonus. Very noisy at night best to ask for a room away from main Street. Close to everything

Location location and location! Right in the centre of everything. Tram stops are at the door step & in the free tram zone; good restaurants are everywhere within walkable distance; shopping centre is right next door to Somerset. Room is little dated but very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Easily to cook a meal in full equipped kitchen if you don’t want to eat out. Price is very affordable. Definitely feel like a home away from home.

The reception staff were amazing to me & my family. As I am disabled they went above & beyond to accommodate me. The room was fantastic and the hotel was always clean & smelt divine ✨ 😁

Fantastic location and amazing staff. They even sent up a bottle of wine and chocolates for our birthday celebrations. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent position walking distance to everything in the city . We stayed in pet friendly level 4 great views and the best outdoor off leash area for doggies . Helpful friendly staff the furbaby was welcomed with her own bowls bed blanket toys and chair . The best 😆

This is, hands-down, my favourite hotel stay ever. The staff here are genuine, extremely flexible, accomodating, welcoming and are always around and eager to help. They made a number of special accomodations for me, including storing some items I will be shipping. Even the two managers I have met are actively involved with the guests, with one offering to personally assist with moving items, my car, and offering any other assistance the hotel could provide. It goes beyond customer service and makes this hotel feel like a home.

This is on my favourite street-corner of the Melbourne CBD. There are so many of the best coffee-shops, cafes and restaraunts right on this street-corner. It is located next to two, large shopping centres with everything you might need, sights to see and is directly connected to Melbourne Central Station, which will take you anyhere on the PT network.

I have lived in Melbourne for four years, and will be traveling back to the United States in a week. I am also traveling with my cat, Hobbes, and the hotel offers beautiful, pet-friendly rooms. The hotel had set up a number of cat-friendly items, including a litterbox, feeding bowls, beds, cat toys, a cat tree and a number of other, very personal touches. You can tell that the receptionists are pet-lovers and make your pet feel as welcome as you do. The hotel has a large, open, faux-grass area with benches and picnic tables, safely fenced in on the roof of the 4th floor, for dogs to run around in, play and have a wee.

My room is lovely, clean, functional and very comfortable. My room overlooks Elizabeth St, with a great view of the city and the street-activity. I've been enjoying the fresh-air with my windows open and my cat spends most of his time staring out of the window and being King over all of Melbourne.

Fully furnished apartments. Each apartment comes with a washing machine that also works as a dryer. A big oven for cooking your lasagna and etc... A gas cooktop with four (4) different types of gas burners for cooking your steaks and etc... A big dishwasher that helps you by giving you more time to do other things like shopping and etc... It is perfect for families who are planning a medium to long term stay.

The staff are lovely and very helpful . Rooms are very clean extra comfy beds and overall a fantastic stay . I will definitely be back to have a relaxing stay . And the location is perfect .. thankyou for the welcoming stay
