12 years ago My kids went there in 2011 their teachers were absolutely wonderful back then and the grounds nice

I am shocked to see so many unusually bad reviews about the school, I can only guess many might not be genuine reviews. My children have been going to this school since school years, they are happy and have nice group of friends whose parents know each other for many years, 1 of my children have special needs and the school has been incredibly supportive, special thanks to John and Veronica, we are happy to have such a good school in the neighbourhood.

Carranballac P-9 College is a really good environment for students.
Great Teachers and friendly staff. College director is really doing great work. On top of general education this school teaching and giving priority to life skills required for everyday life like cooking, textile, wood work and gardening. This school has all facility.
My child really enjoying in his school and liked class teachers.

Carranballac P-9 College is a wonderfully inclusive school, with dedicated Teachers and staff who care for the education and the wellbeing of the students. Educating students from Foundation (Prep) to Year 9, Carranballac has an established buddies program, offers trade technologies, information technology, a fabulous barista program and students are supported by psychologists, speech pathologists and education support staff.

Dedicated and supportive staff with positive attitudes. Students are happy, involved and well mannered.

Carranballac College Boardwalk campus is a great school. Staff and teachers are friendly.

Great school that teaches children the best way possible.

Exquisite school

This school is so broke the students are valid, but most teachers are so rude and trash don't recommend coming to this school 40% chance u will get bullied or get into a fight. Also the teachers fight you if u dont wear the right socks.

Terrible school, teachers can’t control their classes, substitutes for more than half of the subjects, multiple fights per day. The administration is a joke and the policies make no sense.

Ignore my name, throwaway account. This school is quite possibly the worst school you could choose for your kids. The teachers are completely unmotivating aside from a few. (Mr K (unrelated to), Ms K, Ms C and Ms O'N) The rest of the good teachers have left as for which no one should be surprised. The teachers for the younger kids are always trying to instill an atmosphere of fear (atmosfear) which is obviously not what you want for the equivalent of a human sponge. And as you get to higher year levels, the teachers then either have no backbone, with the class decaying into utter chaos all the time. Or instill that atmosfear to a degree of 100. The classes are suffocating. But now, the blame isn't completely on the teachers, they're understaffed, overworked and underpaid. With subs coming in more often than the teachers, most of which make a complete mess of the class. And in this school it isn't an uncommon occurrence for an extra-curriculum teacher to teach a second or third subject. No, its not because they want to, its because this school is UNDERSTAFFED. And who would be surprised, management thought it would be a good idea to spend all the money on cameras, meaning Food Tech has the lowest quality ingredients to work with, meaning nothing genuinely wanted by students will be added, meaning they've been forced to use the after school care rooms as classrooms, meaning they have literally no cleaners. And lastly, meaning you shouldn't take your child to this trashy, unmotivating, toxic school.
