A cute neighbourhood Italian with fantastic service and delicious food. Food portions are a great size for sharing too. Huge wine list and knowledge staff advising on what to drink. Price is a little on the expensive side but it’s worth it for a special occasion. The tiramisu is contender for best in sydney. And make sure you book ahead it can get busy being a small dining room.

Must get the pretzel. It’s soft and flavorful, good pair with the dipping sauce. We ordered almost everything on the menu and a bottle of Australian orange wine. Enjoyed every bite of it and the wine is so refreshing. Simple but delicious!

Great food, great wine, great atmosphere & the staff are absolutely lovely.
It’s the place to go for date night or night out with the girls.

What a fantastic night this was. Me and my partner were elated to be dining here after a long time lusting after the menu from another state. We finally made the trip and wow was it worth it. The focaccia, ox skewers and tuna tartar were particularly gorgeous (tho it was hard to pick, there were no bad choices) not to mention the atmosphere and service which was second to none. All the dishes we had were incredible, I would recommend anything. Close your eyes and point to anything on the menu, you can’t go wrong. I will treasure this experience until I can visit again hopefully sooner rather than later.

I was traveling in sydney and visited myself for dinner.

I sat down at a
bar table, ordered a various of dishes and a few of glasses. I felt comfortable from the service and food overall. good moody and vibe in this restaurant. my favorite dish was the pasta, just stunning.

I will revisit ,if I go to Sydney soon.

Came to 10 William Street in a group of 5.. It was all delicious, my group were satisfied with the amount, however for those who eat a lot like I do, I left the place being quite hungry still. We spent $475 with 2 wines, almost one of all of the entrees and mains, and all of the dessert. Highly recommend the pretzel, would recommend ordering one all for yourself rather than sharing it with friends as it's that good :)

A small, cozy place that serves delicious Italian food.
The attention was amazing, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it. They also have a great range of different wines, from sparkling to red, that will elevate the flavors of your food. Absolutely recommend.

Finally made it here after so many years of wanting to. We scored the best table in the house, albeit spontaneously, thanks to being early at 5pm on a Friday evening - out on their cosy little balcony for 2. Perfect for us as I don’t cope well with compact spaces when they start to get noisy, which this was when we left at 7pm.

Staff were very lovely & our waitress in particular had a very special cute charm about her. Our entree of Zucchini, Stracciatella & Hazelnuts was divine. The pasta options were frustratingly good… I eventually went for the Crab Spaghetti - BEST EVER, seriously! Wayne’s was incredibly tasty Orecchiette with Broccoli leaves & Sausage. Would have loved to try their desert but was too full.

Totally impressed with the design of the space given this is an extremely narrow Paddington terrace - the toilet space in particular was such a pleasure to visit. Highly recommend this restaurant - can’t wait to go back.

If you're looking to host a small event (10-20 people), 10 William Street is the place to do it. We had our wedding celebration here and they put so much effort into making the night special for us. The food is delicious and the wine list is extensive, but the bulk of our praise is owed to Corinne who helped us plan the event, not to mention she's the nicest person ever. Can't wait to come back here to celebrate all the happy memories!!!

Friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. Haven't had a chance to come in the last few years and the pretzel with the bottarga is still the standout + so so so good. Pasta was cooked well with great flavours. Enjoy seeing what specials they have. Came out comfortably full.

Good food, excellent wine with friendly and attentive staff.

We walked past on a Friday afternoon and they were able seat us quickly. The wine is great so take your time or pick a glass from one of the bottles on the board. For food, the pretzel is a must order. The rest of the menu was good but didn’t live up to what we had been led to expect. That’s not a knock on 10W - more on the hype around this venue 😌.

Very hard place to get a booking but I can see why. The food here is unpretentious and delicious and the wine list is extensive and pairs well with the food on offer. The menu offered is refined and I think with a table of four, you can easily taste the whole menu! Other than the pretzel dish, the menu rotates often. Definitely worth a try if you're into Italian food with a contemporary twist!

Loveliest place with the best food. Never thought pretzel could taste so heavenly and soft. Also ordered the focaccia which was soft and flavourful.

Lovely nectarines carpaccio with cheese. Baccala (Bacalhau) takes me back to Portugal. The sirloin was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, even the fats were so easy to bite through and flavourful.

The staff were so attentive and refills your glass without any prompt required. Changed your plates when they get dirty automatically. Lemon bitters drink was refreshing. Very cosy place with friendly staff.

Definitely worth the visit👍

One of the best experiences at a venue, incredible staff and hosts that were insightful and helpful. The atmosphere is really good here, the seating is a bit odd but that's due to space, would be great for a date. The food was delicious, some of the best dishes I've tried: Focaccia, Ragu and the Cheese plate were my highlights. I asked for the name of all the cheeses they were that good. Only thing worth noting is the portion sizes are small, but still filling. Would highly recommend 10 William Street.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Sydney. Especially when you consider how frequently they change the menu and still nail the food! We visited last night and were sat downstairs (table for 4). It is a bit on the loud side for such a small space, so keep that in mind. Larger parties probably do better upstairs. We started with the whipped bottarga and pretzel (a must) and the tuna crudo (haters of anisé seed maybe steer clear). I also ordered a swordfish skewer and it was delicious. I had the John Dory for my main and ate every last bit. The spaghetti with crab and orecchiette were also ordered and went over really well. They kindly gave us a tiramisu with our check that was perfection. Would recommend booking if you can. Such a solid spot!

Quite a small place and gets pretty busy so if you want to secure a seat, make sure you make a booking. The vibe here is quite nice and the staff are friendly. It is a bit of a darker, more moody sort of atmosphere but it suits the place. The food is pretty good - I’d definitely recommend the pretzel (came here for it). Combined with the bottarga, it is really nice and makes you want more. We also got the pasta. The pasta itself was nice, the sauce wasn’t heavy and it was quite refreshing overall. Personally, I don’t like sardines cause of the bones, but otherwise it was good. The tiramisu was great- would recommend!

A little difficult to get to as street parking was quite limited, but otherwise, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area :)

Delicious food, great ambiance and attentive service. The tiramisu and coconut rice pudding with yuzu sorbet were amazing desserts. We can’t wait to be back.

Off the main road is this cosy, contemporary wine bar offering glorious food to share & a huge wine list both by the glass or bottle. If you want to try anything new this is great place to experiment & learn. The staff are so helpful and friendly in listening to your likes & making great suggestions. The food is excellent - beautifully presented & delicious. The portions aren't huge and are designed to share which is the perfect way of having a huge variety. The menu changes seasonally. The charred octopus was outstanding including the lightly spiced squid ink sauce. Pretzel & roe dip is a must & its easy to see why it is so popular. Bonito was cooked perfectly as it can be tough if not cooked well. Pastas are all housemade and I loved the texture but the chicken one I had on this occasion was slightly too salty. Desserts especially the tiramisu is a must here. A great place for a date, catch up with friends, party or dining alone.
