Gorman - Paddington

The store manager and her staff were both very friendly and helpful. The store was spacious. I enjoyed my visit there.

One of the bigger Gormans I've visited, the girls working there are super friendly-their card machine wasn't working and they were being very efficient in fixing it and at the same time chatting to me. I will be going back to this Gorman!

Wouldn’t give a refund for a new dress that was one week out of the 2 week returns policy- our whole family had Covid so we were isolating and literally couldn’t legally leave the house. I bought two dresses to choose from for an event, looking to return one that I wouldn’t wear. We missed the event anyway and now stuck with two dresses (I only went to return one) and they won’t be slightly flexible on their returns policy for people who are legally not allowed to leave their home!

Love Gorman. Went in to look at a potential bridesmaid dress, and the only staff was the manager. There were around 4 customers in the store, and she actively avoided/ignored every single one - even walking away and out the back to get away from one poor girl who was attempting to try on shoes. It was almost funny it was so rude. My friend chose to get bridesmaid dresses from AJE instead - they were lovely and helpful.

(And I get text messages from this store, and they are ridiculous - like a school announcement, with half a dozen pictures attached. Can HR PLEASE get someone tech-savvy to take over the SMS service?)

Used to love Gorman, for years actually, but a recent customer experience has put me off. The Paddington store manager made the experience very unpleasant and was completely unconcerned with my customer experience, but rather concerned with being able to resell an item from last season.

Love the brand, have been using this store since before it moved. The current manager is the rudest creature in retail, and has ruined this store for me.
