A must see for anyone heading to Karijini National Park.
Easy access from Dalea Rd, via the Eastern entrance to the park.
Lots of parking, a short walk of around 500m, including the lookout and steps down to the Falls.
The waterfall is gorgeous and serene clear waters are so inviting for a swim, so don't forget your baths.
A hat, water and some snacks are worth taking too, but there are no rubbish bins, so be prepared to take any trash back with you out of the park.
Well worth the visit!

Beautifully stunning!! Steps all the way down..but OH the calf muscles the next day!! We were there in late Sept and even though no rain for 6 months it was still flowing as in the photos. Recommend a floating device..you could just lie back and soak it in.
Edges very slippery. Best on butt and hands to get in water.

Fortescue Falls was stunning on Easter Sunday, a little busy given the holiday but also nice to see a Ranger keeping people safe, when they are too stupid to think for themselves like walking through the waterfall. It is a safe area when you are sensible, and the kids and us had a ball here.

Absolutely stunning. Make sure, if you are fit, to walk around the rim then down to the gorge until you get to the Falls. Then have a refreshing swim.

Very easy to get to relative to other gorges - just a long flight of stairs to walk down. This is one of the best gorges to swim in and we spent a lot of time here doing just that, even talking an inflatable toy with us for the kids to relax on. There is a lot of wildlife here, including bees, dragon flies, lizards and birds. The falls themselves are small but beautiful to sit in and let the water run over you. A must see if you are coming to the area.

Great natural hike, as advised a level 4 hike, but well worth the beautiful scenery

Perfect spot for a swim in the fresh water. Lots of steps to get in and out but worth every one. Rocks are slippery when wet so take caution when walking down the falls. To the swimming hole.

Around 10 min walk from the car park, and there are quite some stairs to the falls. Great view from the lookout and walk down to the fall then to the fern pool for a swim.

A large waterfall and swimming pool accessible from the Fortescue Falls car park via a man-made series of metal steps down to the upper falls. The pool is accessible by walking down a series of rocky levels.

You can also access Dales Gorge from the other side of the pool from the falls.

The pools are very popular with visitors as a place for a cooling swim, photo opportunity and sun baking on the rocks. Best time to go is when the sun is shining down into the gorge.

What an incredible place to visit during your visit to Karijinni national park. The landscape is absolutely beautiful and amazing with sheer cliffs that appear as though tiles have been placed one on top of another to form this incredible place. The stairway down to the falls pool is for reasonably fit and definitely ambulant people. A photographers dream.

Magical place. Worth the walk down the 280 stairs. Also worth walking the length of the gorge. It says that it's a Class 4 walk, but most of it is flat & easy. It's only the ladder at the end that makes it a Class 4.

It's a easy walk down to the pool. Really need to be careful of slipping near the water. Take a noodle.

Oh what a spot! Clear, beautiful swimming water, awesome family friendly vibes. Easy to access. Wonderfully preserved (let's keep it that way). One of nature's absolute joys.
