Relaxed atmosphere and down to earth customer service. You can tell the staff like working at this store. Also a great range of guitars. Spent some money at this shop, bought a Dave Murray Signature Fender Strat. Drove from Ballarat to pick it up in person and was worth the drive. No issues whatsoever and very happy with the experience overall.

Allowed me to come in to collect an amp I purchased online, instead of paying the exorbitant shipping cost. Met by a very cool, friendly and helpful staff member who helped me with my order and with an additional purchase. Wide range of instruments and products in-store. Hope to return one day to try a few of them.

Purchased a beautiful Green Gretsch from Sky Music. Aaron's service was awesome. He let my partner and I fiddle with all the models we were interested in and even was kind enough to give us privacy due to our skills not being super pro. Very fair with pricing and I purchased not only the guitar but also an Amp, Stand, Lead, Pics and a Guitar Strap. Overall, thrilled with my purchase and will be back for more soon enough!!

The size and range of this shop is phenomenal, and there isn’t a shop that rivals it in Victoria. Their range means you can be thorough about trying different things to find what you want. I was after a Les Paul and was able to pick up half a dozen straight off the wall, compare and find what I wanted. Knowledgeable staff and a fantastic amp room to try the guitars out!

The team at Sky Music were so great to deal with. Every staff member I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable and gave me so much time and effort.

I was purchasing a guitar from another state online and needed to clarify some detailed information regarding the guitar. Not once did they seem bothered by my constant questions and provided such great service at the same place time.

Wanted to buy a Banjo, came in and asked about the options. Katie helped me out, explained the differences between the models they had, payment options offered etc. Less than 30 minutes and I walked out with a gorgeous new Banjo and the service was good! Would come back again.

Amazing store with a HUGE variety! This is the biggest music store I've been in with a massive range of guitars, ukulele, drums, pianos - they have everything!! Not just a few drums.. a whole upper level of them!

Hands down the best music shop this side of the CBD! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. And the range of guitars is hard to beat! Whether you’re purchasing in-store or online these guys have you covered! Recently purchased a CV Starcaster with the help of Nia and Cal and couldn’t be happier with their customer service and pricing! This is now my fourth guitar purchased from Sky, it’s the only place to go for music supplies. They also had the Gibson ABR-1 bridge I was after too. Constantly amazed with the range on offer at Sky, everything from instruments to hardware components! Sky give too notch customer service, and extremely competitive pricing! Well done Sky!!

One of the best music stores in Melbourne. Probably the biggest range of pianos on site and more guitars than I've seen anywhere else (and loads of left handed guitars!) The second floors selection of digital keys/synths is impressive and the cymbal vault is something else. Not quite at the level of Drumtek for drums but pretty close.
As an overall music shop it's right up there with the best and a great knowledgeable crew

Great service, amazing selection of instruments and good location. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I went in just to look and ended up buying a guitar for my husband. I will keep on coming here for any future purchases as the selection is amazing and the staff will always assist no matter how much you are spending. Found this place while searching online for a very specific guitar for a Christmas gift. Was able to chat to Sky Music easily with their chat service. All correspondence with staff were prompt and professional. Although Sky Music did not have the item I wanted in stock, they were able to source the item for me quickly and have it delivered to me in Sydney super quickly as well. With such a small timeframe of 2 weeks, we weren’t sure if we’d get the item in time. With constant updates and communication with Sky Music, we were able to make it happen. The guitar arrived in store on Friday and it was delivered to me on the Monday. We can’t thank you enough for your awesomeness, Sky Music.

Bought a bass from them a few months back. Had a bit of a miscommunication with delivery (completely my fault) and they were incredibly accommodating about it, and I ended up getting my bass much quicker than expected. It's in perfect condition and plays beautifully. Highly recommend.
