Acheron Cutting Lookout

A fantastic place to enjoy a sunrise and just off the side of the highway! Especially beautiful during misty mornings in autumn or winter. Take a telephoto lens or binoculars to spot kangaroos too.

Beautiful place to stop and relax. Beautiful scenery and some really great photos can be taken here, in all sorts of weather. There's also a rubbish bin here. Please use it.

Somewhere for a "Wordsworth's Daffodils" moment after grabbing a coffee in Alexandra or Acheron. The chair was a nice touch.

If you’re driving close by you should make a 5minute stop to admire the view.

Nice hill to climb on a bike (both sides) with a great view at the top. Especially spectacular when the valley is filled with fog.

Best view in the district. Weird that the "official" sign posted spot has no view :) but thankfully this spot exists. Plenty of parking room.
