Alexandra Showgrounds Caravan Park

Alexandra is surrounded by beautiful scenary, waterfalls, and magestic huge hills. It is close to Lake Eildon. The Showgrounds are in a nice quiet location. Is has large grassed areas and is close to town. $35 powered $30 unpowered. The staff are super friendly. The amenities are a bit old but they are clean and well maintained. Do l recommend staying there? Yes

Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Facilities very clean and staff very helpful and polite.

I was motocamping when I lost my sleeping mats and looked around for somewhere, apart from the mountains to camp out and stumbled upon the Alexandra caravan park...there I met Sue and her husband

"no you'll sleep in the shed, as it's going to rain" Sue said...

I was going to have my spare sleeping mat couriered over but the rain 🌧 meant they couldn't guarantee when it would arrive so I decided to head back home.

I never got to say goodbye, but I promised myself I would come back and thank them both personally for their gracious hospitality

I do recommend staying here as the whole experience was a wonderful experience, apart from sleeping without my sleeping mat.

Absolute gem of a place, top groundsman caretaker, he goes above and beyond, the amenities are old but super clean and in good working order. Laundry, clothes lines, huge huge huge shady trees, power sites available. And the pub on the corner does a good meal. We stayed one night while riding the rail trail.

I didn't stay there. I visited friends who are staying in their caravan. Very clean amenities. Large areas either in the open or under shade trees. Great location. Under great management.

One of the cleanest toilets,showers we have stayed. Very cheap $25 a night, was quoted $40 at the other caravan park. great managers

Amazing spot with friendly and helpful staff, Sue and Norn. Glad we didn't stay at Healsville where is the way too exsy even just in quiet season before school holiday in Sep.

A great spot. Friendly and helpful managers, old but clean shower block and even friendly magpie that love cheese! Short walk to the main street shops, pubs and eateries.

Alexander is a beautiful part of the world. Good for walks, site seeing, lots to do in surrounding areas like Eildon, Yea, Buxton and Healesville.

Such a beautiful quiet place to stay, heaps of shade and extremely nice owners .
