BIG W Epping

Big W located at Epping Plaza is a department store selling a vast range of products, at the lower end of the price scale. They have a lot of their own branded products or brand names that you don't see any where else. Set up like a supermarket with registers at the entrance, wide aisles, brightly lit.
Not a lot of staff to ask for help if you need it.

It is very big as most of the other Big W super stores. They had a small dress stall right outside the shop around April 2023, which felt a bit different from usual. They have huge collection of dresses and toys. I am not sure whether they have a service to assemble bikes if we purchase them there, as it was not very clearly mentioned there. They have wide variety of bike cycle gears for big kids and grown ups, but very less collection of bikes for those age group.

Good priced and quality items overall.
Kids clothes are cute.
I saw some cute new season tutu and tulle dresses that I would of brought at only $25 each, beautiful designs, for a friend's wedding end of this month (April)... rather than spending $49.95 plus postage which I did spend per dress from an online store the other week.

Great store. Clean and has everything in stock normally. Good staff.

Excellent staff encounters, however a lot of people seem to shop lift or run from the self check out. Good range of products of all sorts

How could you not love Big W!
Love the cheeky chocolate sales, laundry detergents in bulk and the cute clothing options for toddlers.

Better than some other clothing outlets. Their clothing range offers a wide variety of choices for all sizes.

Good for shopping during busy time like Christmas & Easter.some times things are discounted.

First time expectant grandmother. Had a great time with my daughter in the baby section. Lots of items on sale and what wasn't was well priced.
Just hope they open in Plenty Westfield as Epping is the closest store.

I visited this store recently and were assisted by Rosina and Jackie whilst looking for a particular item. I was super impressed with their level of customer service at assisting me. Rosina even though run off her feet with the amount of people at the front of the store had plenty of time to assist me with a friendly attitude, and tried to contact another staff member Jackie to help as she could not leave her position. Jackie also came back to me a second time after looking for the product to let me know that the particular product would be available on line in a few days time. Jackie did not have to do this, but this shows great customer service, even though the store was very busy at the time. Both these ladies are a credit to Big W Epping store and I hope their level of service is recognised, a great store :)

girl who worked self serve on sunday wearing green jumper was very nice and took me to checkout. great customer service from her!

Always cheap confectionery don't take your wife there she will look for sizes for baby clothes for 3 hours to save $2

I had a bit of trouble with the self checkout, luckily the girl there was extremely helpful and was extremely engaged with assisting me.

Big W has become really affordable, I haven't been in years and I went today and they had so much variety and so afford now, I bought so much, I went in looking for men's pyjamas and bought so much more, their Halloween selection was extremely impressive, they have a HUGE selection of Christmas items. I really enjoyed the store, the staff were so helpful and polite and I only waited about one minute for a register.

Always find what I need ,great place to shop

I always shop here, good range of stuff and pretty impressive range of brands and decent clothing as opposed to what they used to sell many moons ago. Seems like BigW is a spinoff of a Target having a Marriage with a Kmart and having a baby that is Big W. It's pretty cheap like Kmart but with a little more brand names and a little more upmarket than Kmart, closer toward a Target. That said it's pretty BIG and has decent amount of women's and children's clothing, Mens clothing could be more broad and BIG man's clothing is some what limited, that said they do have the odd nice clothing for big blokes. Electrical items, kitchen appliances etc.... is pretty good at Big W, I always end up finding something I can't find at other stores and usually at a pretty good price. Overall I like BIG W, I heard a while back that Woolworths group was having issues and would be shutting them down permanently, I hope that does not happen as I think they are pretty good.
