Best Western Burnie Murchison Lodge

We had a great time at Best Western Hotel Burnie! The staff were really nice and the rooms were super clean. It was easy to get around because the hotel is in a good spot. Definitely recommend staying here if you're in Burnie.

Great place to stay, room very clean, everything provided, the gentleman at reception was very polite, informative and gave great tourist destinations for the rest of the day and the next, we did it all. Vey happy.

We had a great stay at Best Western Burnie. Great service and very friendly staff. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my husband and I by providing a bottom floor room!! Would highly recommend!!!

Room was cool and clean with reasonably comfy bed and pillows, plus service at reception is excellent.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with the Best Western Murchison Lodge for quite a few nights before our return home from Tasmania, Liam and his wife Marshi were just wonderful hosts, the food and service at the restaurant was just sensational with an extremely generous plate of food, the chef did an excellent job and I would recommend anybody to stay here, just such a pleasurable stay.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I continue to be impressed. The rooms are clean and cozy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff members are not only friendly but also extremely polite. Despite being located about 6 to 7 km away from the town area, it offers a perfect quiet retreat for a peaceful night's sleep. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Stayed at this Motel for a long stay, Absolutely Great Service, Location and great rooms..

Could not fault this Motel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly Management & Restaurant provided a perfect meal. We arrived early to just drop off luggage and was no problem to them. Thank you for your 5 star service, and for being so nice and accommodating

Comfortable rooms with everything you need. The best feature here is the service - thanks for the great advice on things to see and do all across Tasmania, fantastic local knowledge and advice had us well prepared for everything.

Dinner reservation for 11 people. Very enjoyable evening. Restaurant is cosy and intimately furnished and lit. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Menu has nice variety, entrees around $15 and mains between $15 and $42 (premium steak /seafood for one person). Drinks (about $7.50 each) and meals arrived quickly, and were creatively and originally presented. Food was declared amazing around the table. This is a local restaurant for me, and an easy choice for special occasions. Have been several times, and will no doubt visit again.

Decent accomodation in Burnie area can be hard to find but this place always delivers!! best value for money for sure.
Rooms are updated and always clean.
Good coffee and tea and real milk!.
Staff in reception and resturant are lovely.
Wi-Fi can be a bit hit and miss maybe depends on the room

Our room was clean and tidy. Ample for what we were looking for, for an overnight stay

Did not stay in the accommodation but did have a meal there and was some of the best food we'd ever eaten.
Service was speedy and polite and helpful. Prices were reasonable and quality of produce was first class.
This place is a little hidden gem! Could not recommend highly enough.

Staff was really nice, friendly and gave great suggestions on things to do and see in an around the surrounding areas. Room was big and clean. Less than 10 min drive from Burnie city center and Penguin Observatory

Went there as a part of a work dinner. Service was good. The food was fantastic. The country style interior is very inviting and feels homey. Would definitely go back for evening dinner again.
