Burnie Ocean View Motel and Caravan Park

Has every thing one needs for a relaxing stay. Owners are so friendly amenities are clean, the wallabies are out and about come evening, this place is hidden away on 2 hectares, no charge barbecues, laundry facilities, camp kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place for an excellent break.

I cannot recommend this place enough!
Convenient camping/caravan sites, clean amenities, an extensively equipped camp kitchen, hard working and gracious hosts and all that just a 2 minute walk from a beach with spectacular sunsets! Thanks for making my time there amazing!

We had a poweted site for our van near the clean and tidy shower / toilets
The Camp also offered bbqs and a camp kitchen for patrons to use.
The Caravan park has a heated pool to use. It is situated across the road from a lovely beach where penguins come ashore.

What a delight to stay here especially as our elderly dog could be with us in the cabin and which catered thoroughly to all our needs during our 5 day stay. Heated pool was great and Reception staff very helpful. Comfortable cabin in nice peaceful park, close to all amenities, will return

Not the most modern of cabins, bit it was clean and a great location for us. Very close to shops by car

We stayed 3 nights in a cabin. The cabin was clean and tidy. Showers were hot and bed was comfy. The park was lovely and quiet. Our hosts were welcoming but not in your face. This is what it claims to be! Budget accomodation. We found it to be excellent value at $99 a night. We would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff who waited for us to arrive and check in. The cabin was clean and tidy and provided everything that we needed for our stay. Nice hot showers. Would definitely stay here again, reasonable rates.

Great little spot to stop and friendly staff. Only fault I did have was I booked for my husband, me and our 4 kids but only 2 of the 4 bunks were made up which was alittle inconvenient as I hadn't realised when we had checked in and got back quite late that night. But all in all tidy and clean definitely will be stopping again. It's nice to see affordable accommodation that caters for bigger families. Thankyou guys X

My wife and I found it to be to our liking, everything was clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable, we only stayed one night but we'll be back again.

It isn't the Burj Kalifa or 5 star luxury but i gave it 5 stars because i dealt with them directly, not through a booking app. From there onwards it was fantastic customer service. Clean linen daily, the rooms are clean and as I said, even though it is no 5 star resort, you get what ypu pay for and more. Very good value for money if you have family. The kids always had something to do. Penguins are everywhere in the shrubs across the road and the beach is just a good a beach as anywhere in the area. Been there many years ago, went again last week and will definitely use again when staying in that area. I actually think we paid too little myself but anyway its best to ring the place directly and not through a booking app. 🙂

We stayed in one of the family cabins, price was good. Kids thought it was great and loved the pool and playing in the guest lounge. Staff was friendly and helpful, even gave my 3 year old a band aid when she fell over and hurt her knee. Also a short drive down the road to veiw the penguins at night fall at the penguin viewing centre. Thanks guys.

Loved this park..have stayed several times..right by ocean and highway so if you get an ocean view motel you will have traffic noise..But penguins are right opposite on beach..super comfy beds ..older style units but very affordable place to stay..somewhere for everyone's budget

Very nice clean comfortable cabin. Great price and quiet location.
Will definitely make this our 'go to' accommodation when we travel up the coast.

Very accommodating and understanding when we ended up stranded in Burnie due to car troubles with our dog. They set us up with a comfortable room on the ocean front and our four legged family was also welcomed without any worries at all. Extremely happy with service and the room and so was our dog. Thank you for making a tough situation so much easy. Definitely reccomend this hotel especially if travelling with pets.

Cabins are nicely appointed and very clean. Set far enough back from the road that you don’t hear too much noise... barely any really. Staff are really friendly and the office is open later than most parks. They were able to accomodate for our infant with a porta-cot. I’d come back for sure!
