Monty's Cafe & Patisserie

I was starving and popped in for lunch yesterday. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and coffee. Yum! 😋 The croissant was delicious… cooked to perfection, just the way I like it and the coffee was very good. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience.

All through COVID this place has survived and that's because of the good coffee food and excellent service. The owner is always great and he ensures that his staff are the same. Today they went above and beyond. It was a simple thing.. finding an item they thought was out of stock but by today's standards unexpected and greatly appreciated.

Have been coming here for a long time, love the coffee and the food, my favourite cake is the chocolate volcano but I have to say all the cakes are delicious. Thank you for your great service, it would not be the same without Monty and Shaz and not forgetting out friendship we have formed over the years! Thanks guys, would not get my coffee from anywhere else.

Monty’s Cafe has the best coffee in Lilydale (especially their large 3/4 strength Flat white With almond milk 😄). The staff at Monty’s are top notch and at Monty’s they have a great variety of cakes / hot pies, pasties, sausage rolls and tasty sandwiches / toasties. Come down and visit Monty’s next time your in Lilydale at Lilydale Marketplace.
