Bowside Cafe

Lovely place where it has a cafe, nursery and some other stuff you can buy for your garden. We went here for breakfast as a first stop on our Great Ocean Road trip. What we liked here is that it's not among the busy areas so you'll likely find a spot for parking and seats in the cafe.

We tried the gourmet sausage roll which was really good! The homemade tomato sauce really goes well with it so it's a good combination. Will definitely be back here to try out the other options in the menu and just mainly to have a good start for the trip.

Have to agree with the reviews on the coffees and chai…excellent! Nice and hot and great flavours. Its all we stopped in for, but everyone agreed it was an excellent cuppa!

This was the perfect place to grab some hot chocolate and a snack after completing a hike closeby at point Addis. They also have a plant nursery which I wish I spent a bit more time at! Overall a really nice cafe！

Wowww...best kept secret along the Great Ocean Road for a good chat & great coffee + snacks.. ..we call it God's Waiting Room & is like Heaven!

Great food, kind And friendly staff, nice ambience

I got take away toasted vegy sandwich and an orange almond cake, both were delicious and reasonably priced.
There's also a fantastic little nursery and gift shop next door.
I'll be back.

Note - signage outside indicates opening hours are 9-4pm. Unfortunately the cafe closes at 3pm. We weren’t able to experience the food or long-awaited coffee. Next time :-)

Great Cafe and beautiful well stocked nursery. Don't go past.

A perfect place to visit on sunny days. Interesting array of ferns, Australian natives and gifts to view after coffee or a meal. Helpful staff.

We went there for coffee and the vanilla slice. We were not disappointed, coffee was very good and the vanilla slice was sensational(fresh, great flavour, and they cut it half without squashing the custard). Great nursery with a great range of plants and the on-site art studio and working artist gave it a great feel.

A very friendly and welcoming small cafe that served a good coffee and a super delicious how made vanilla slice. Also bought a couple of their home made sausage rolls to take home (also delicious). Plenty to do and see with the cafe, nursery and gift shop all on the same spot.

Coffee's good but you'd come for the atmosphere. Sitting area away from the road surrounded by a colorful nursery. Charming service as well. Bonus points for lactose-free cow's milk—harder to find around here.

Cute little cafe looking onto a lovely nursery. Lots of temptation in the gardening shop and was given some great advice from one of the owners. Definitely worth checking out (and not expensive at all, actually very reasonably priced!)
