A great gem in Torquay. Mick was helpful with champagne selection and put together an awesome grazing platter of cured meats and cheese with all the trimmings. A great way to spend a sunny, then rainy, early afternoon in Torquay. Thanks for having us Mick, next time we are in town we will swing by for a bottle and some food. Cheers.

I appreciated that there were tags on the wine bottles displayed. It really helped my friends and I pick the right bottle for us. The staff was really friendly and informative. They were happy to provide tastings of the wine bottles they have opened so we could pick which one we preferred.

Mick & Sarah’s wine recommendations are always spot on and often at a bargain price point for the quality. Great place to kick off the weekend or grab a bottle for any occasion.

This is the wine and craft beer bar destination you wish for in your dreams. And a MUST visit during any relaxing down time or as a meeting place when in Torquay. A thoughtfully organised list of fantastic wines by the glass from a wide range of origins and styles, a ripping selection of great beers including a couple of crafties on tap, and a bar menu of eats that are perfect accompaniments. Not to mention an enormous range to either take home or drink there. Owned and run by a wealth of premium industry experience, the hosts and their staff are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic!

Fabulous little wine bar found via the obvious sign from The Esplanade "wine bar 150m this way" - well done! The owner was engaging during service, and the wine selection was vast. New fit out of the venue is chic and warm. Food menu perfect for snacks along with a long lunch. I'll be back for that long lunch.....

Torquay Wine store is quite a surprise. Great atmosphere for a drink then take some home. Local wine knowledge on show here. Mick is the cheerful and welcoming host with years of hospitality miles under his belt.

Fabulous addition to the Torquay food and wine scene. The owners are passionate and knowledgeable about their wines and it’s great to be able to enjoy a glass of lovely wine as well as pick up some nibbles for my cheese platter at home.

Wowee! What an awesome addition to my favourite beach destination! I never thought I’d find another reason to love Torquay - but the geezer at this place was brilliant. He genuinely knew his stuff and was so friendly & bloody funny. Well done pal (can’t remember his name sorry. All signs of a job well done 😂)

The Torquay Wine Store has been my husband and my go-to location for the past few evenings on our honeymoon. Mick is wonderful, personable, and the wines/nibbles are amazing. Couldn’t ask for much more!!

I have been waiting so long for a place like this in our little town - a wine bar that still supports local wineries and breweries but also has an amazing selection of beverages outside of our local area because sometimes you just want a glass of french rose or central otago pinot. A wine bar that feels a bit like "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. Where the staff will talk to you about what you like, what you want and find a match for you because they are that knowledgable and friendly.
The selection of top notch beers and wines across all price points is vast without being overwhelming. WInes by the glass are rotational but you can also purchase a bottle in store and drink it at the bar. A must for anybody visiting Torquay.

Great new spot in the heart of Torquay. Great wine/beer/spirit list. Didn't try the food but looked great. Definitely recommend.
