Go Ride A Wave - Anglesea

Beginner's session was a really great way to try surfing in a small group, perfect for those with no surfing experience. Our instructor Will was really patient and encouraging and made sure everyone was able to stand up on the board at least a few times, ensuring we all got the most out of the two hour session on beautiful Anglesea beach. Highly recommend if you want to have a go at surfing along the great ocean road!

Had a lovely session with Izzy this bank holiday weekend! We were too busy having fun to take any pictures but we loved every minute and we will certainly be back. Jules and Jude x

Came here a couple of times this summer to try out surfing for the first time. Always super friendly and chill staff ready to help us out with wetsuit and board hire when we arrive and to take the equipment back when we're done. The store is just a short walk away from the beach so you don't have to carry your board too far from the shop. Reasonable renting prices for equipment and lessons and there's also showers and changerooms. I'll always come to this place to get rent surfing gear and looking forward to more surfing this summer!

We did one at Anglesea. It was an amazing first lesson. Will and Sara were our instructors and they took time with everyone to help them catch a wave. It was awesome fun, definitely doing it again sometime

Myself and three others were all first time surfers. Our instructor was Tim. He was very friendly, informative and kind. He never once made any of us feel incapable. We had a great surf. Would highly recommend!

I was on a school camp trip and it was the best experience I have ever had. I went bodyboarding, the instructors amazing and the waves were big. Also, they pushed me and I went all the way from neck-height water to the shore.

We hired SUPs from Joel who was really generous with his time and gave us some super handy pointers before we set out. Would 100% recommend this as an activity, we had the best time.

Our kids participated in the Surf groms program. Stephan their instructor was brilliant. The kids learnt so much and want to do it again! Highly recommended!!!

Son went for his 1st surfing lesson few days ago, fell down so many times, got to a point even I think it's too difficult, but Dean the instructor keep encouraging him to try few more times, finally he managed to confidently stand on the board, the team also helps on pointing out common beginners' errors etc, we learnt a lot in just 1 lesson!!! Will come back for more!

I had the best surf lesson I’ve ever had with Laura! She was such an amazing instructor and gave very clear instructions. She was also such a kind person and I loved it so much. Thankyou Laura for such a fun day and lesson I had a ball ☺

My Fiance and I had our first lesson today and could not recommend Go Ride A Wave high enough.
All of the instructors were very good at explaining things and made sure everyone was comfortable when on the water.
We will be back for sure! 🤙
