We loved the team’s hospitality over at Smokery!
Lovely meat board, the visual presentation, smell and taste oh went so perfectly balanced.
Alex sure knows how to tickle all of our tastebuds, even the two little ones enjoyed their chips and sourdough bread.
Coffee was lovely too !

Appreciate the attention to detail these guys have over here :) keep it up !

Would be back for more and please try their burgers too ! Good stuff and you’ll be stuff’d !

If you like BBQ and particularly smoked BBQ you have to try this place!!
I had the naughty Beef brisket burger and it was amazing, full of flavour and smokey goodness. Serving size is really generous. Owner is obviously passionate about smoking and the result is amazing food and great service as well.
I noticed you can also buy smoked beef tallow, great for home cooking and bbq.

Magnificent coffee ( Come to try their amazing cold brew😍😍😍！）and the food is one of the best, both the design and tastes absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and ensure your every needs are met while being as flexible as possible with their menu and service. Definitely recommend！

This is a beautiful little cafe right next to the lilydale station. If you want some good food, coffee and nice conversation, please do visit. The owner Alex is a lovely human being with a good sense of humour. Love the place

Had the naughty brisket burger and it was bloody delicious out of all the smoked meat places in Victoria. This is the most juiciest brisket I’ve ever had from a store. Highly recommended also really friendly!

Amazing experience! Perfectly smoked meats but that’s only half the story! Alex the owner is incredibly warm, ridiculously creative, and pretty much smoking master in the flesh! The meats were perfectly seasoned, you can enjoy the smokey flavours - well balanced, moist and not overly salty and it boggles the mind the amount of care and attention to detail he has applied to the condiments and even the breads that the meats are served in (omg the dirty brisket IS. TO. DIE. FOR)! Wow, definitely worth a visit, what a gem of a spot.

Missed my train and wanted to eat so decided to try the smokery, great staff and atmosphere.
I got a pulled pork burger and a coffee that was worth the price (only $27 with the large coffee included) it was great. Will be back.

This place is a GEM!! I ordered the naughty Brisket and was totally blown away by the quality. The meat was amazing and melted in my mouth like butter. Certainly mind blowing. SMOKED DIMMIES!!! Holy hell, who would have thought.
Congratulations guys, nailed it and will certainly be bringing the family back here to share the experience. Get around it guys, totally worth it!!

Massive portions and very good coffee. We recently bought our Christmas ham from here and I cannot recommend it enough! Best ham I’ve ever had.

I had the Naughty Brisket, and it was incredible. They do gluten free buns too if you ask. The Dirty Brisket looked next level and was demolished by my friend. The smoked dim sims were also highly rated!

Friendly service and lovely owner who obviously loves his smokery craft. The smoked meats are seasoned just right, without too much salt, so it brings out the flavour of the meats. Portions are large: we tried the roast pork, dirty brisket and Cubano. All served with their own homemade mayonnaise and excellent coffee. Kids loved it too. We will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely amazing. Great quality food, ginormous servings, and a fraction of the prices charged in similar restaurants in Melbourne. We had the Dirty Brisket that had to be shared between two people, their famous smoked dim sim and got to taste test their roast crackling pork. Everything is soooo good. Oh and their coffee is good too. Will definitely be going back.

Superb smoked meats and cafe, with lots of different smoked products available for sale as well, sous vide eggs on the weekend (only) were perfect, big serve of nice smokey bacon and a range of ten salts and dukkah to use, although I didn't need them they looked tempting. Coffee was good as well highly recommended plus they open at six am on some days and are so close to train station. I have been in a couple of times for their delicious smoked salmon, but this was the first time trying the food. I will be back to try some other smoked meats and cafe food again for sure. Update: have now tried their cubano and Naughty brisket burger and Pulled pork one, all delicious particularly the naughty brisket. They also do amazing smoked butter you can take away...excellent place

Loved the food. Excellent smoky taste and the texture and flavour of the food is really something that's hard to find elsewhere. Friendly staff and great prices. Would definitely be back here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal before a Yarra Valley trip :)

We had an amazing experience at the Smokery! Thanks to Alex, the owner, who stayed open for us and then treated us as royalty! But let's talk food! We had the Naughty Brisket. The brisket was superb, juicy, and flavored with an array of different spices. But what made it different was that it is cut very thinly so it's not a hard thick piece of meat. The brisket melts in your mouth and each new bite was another welcome surprise of incredible flavor. It also comes topped with a sunny side up egg. In a word, AMAZING! We also sampled smoked Turkey, cheese, and butter, and all were equally delicious.

If u want some good smokin’ meat, ya get some here! Their food hit the spot and it’s topped with great genuine service. If you’re well behaved, chef may let u in on some from their secret menu. Definitely a must if you’re this side of town.
