Peppers Silo Launceston

We recently had a driving holiday around Tasmania and stayed at Pepper’s Silo!
We were lucky enough to have a silo room on the top floor!
This property is really a something to see, and the rooms are so beautifully done.
They are well designed for a circular space!
The view over Launceston from the balcony was really beautiful! We had dinner at the onsite restaurant, the food is spectacular, and the staff here were really fantastic, we chatted with them all at dinner and breakfast and found them to be really interested in our holiday and really proud of their little perfect place in the world.
The Silo is such a different accommodation, and sadly we only had 1 night here.
But we will be back, to enjoy this pretty cool place and all that it offers! Remember, people also make the place, and we found it here!!

Went to Silos for a surprise birthday and stayed two nights. Launceston and surrounds is such a lovely place to visit . Staying at Silos made our days away. The rooms, dining and relaxing areas was an absolute treat. Architecturally so interesting and our views on the 6th floor outstanding. Food beautiful.

Planning to return and stay again. A great spot for a long weekend or a place to walk about exploring the buildings, history and natural beauty of this city and surrounds.

Recommend a stay at Silos if you're able.

Renovated historical silos. Extremely well presented hotel in a (strangely) half industrial, half river frontage location. Within walking distance to great eateries, museums, a football stadium, river cruises, Cataract Gorge and the centre of the city. Very modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Stylishly presented bar and lounge spaces. A spacious and well functioning restaurant. Also a gym and spa. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed for 3 nights and it was such a pleasant stay. The room was large, and from the 5th floor we had a beautiful river view. The bed was really comfortable. The staff provided great service and the restaurant had delicious food for dinner. We would definitely stay again.

Randomly picked this hotel on our last minute trip to Launnie and I would say this hotel is superb ! It was so so cool that when you found out the hotel used to be a silo back in the old times and it’s very interesting that they manage to merge the heritage with the modern design perfectly.

Room was super clean and well-maintained. The king size bed was super comfy that I wish I could bring it home! Amenities and facilities are very complete which brings us a lot of convenience not to pack too much before arriving.

Breakfast and coffee were YUMS. They even named their restaurant as Grain which is super cute! All the staff are so welcoming and friendly which makes us feel like home. Totally feel recharged even though it was only a night stay. Will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived the service was excellent! We are ALLAccor members and were upgraded to a Premier Suite. The views of the river and parkland were stunning! The room looked completely new, was massive with a separate dining and lounge area, and a bathroom we could fit our bedroom in. The finishes were the highest quality and beautiful too. It was lovely and quiet and we slept well in very comfortable beds. They even provided a rollaway for our teenage son straight away on arrival. 3 free drink vouchers included what’s not to love!

Can I give them 10 out of 5 stars?

We booked for an overnight stay for a wedding held at Peppers Silos. We loved every moment of our stay from when we arrived to when we left. The staff were professional and friendly, our room was EXCEPTIONAL - and I mean truly exceptional. The facilities all clean and well presented. Food for lunch and then at wedding was delicious. The wedding itself was a great location in the gazebo. Intimate and beautiful. We will stay at Peppers Silos again next time we're in Launceston.

A little more on our room:

We were upgraded to Gorge Deluxe room. Thank you so much to Peppers for this as it made our stay AMAZING. From the moment you walk in the room it's just gorgeous; modern and classy with the curved wall of the silo. This also gives a feeling of space that you don't usually have in a rectangular hotel room. Super clean. You feel an instant sense of relaxation walking in. The lighting gives a great ambience (and oddly I LOVE the light switches!).

The room has a chaise lounge by the window. This alone was so comfy to lie on. I took my cup of tea, brewed in the teapot (a really lovely touch), made with REAL milk (not the usual hotel long-life milk) and relaxed in front of the window. The king size bed was so comfy. I had the best night's sleep I'd had in years.

The bathroom is top notch with the toilet and shower each in their own frosted glass cubicle.

Overall I couldn't fault our stay.

We were here for 4 nights and we had an awesome experience with the stay. Spacious room with river facing was cherry on the top. We would love to come back again!

Very much a silo decoration but the room has a lot of lights so won't be very dark. Our room faced to the river so making the whole stay very nice with fresh air and sunshine. Nearby has a nice park and walking path. Suitable for an early morning jog or after dinner walk. If you had no idea what to eat in the morning, there is a Cafe (~5mins walk)

Excellent hotel. We stayed in a river view deluxe room on 7th floor. Very comfortable and well presented. The restaurant is also very good. Service was outstanding at dinner and breakfast and the food was fabulous. Would define stay here again. Overall very impressed!

Located at the quiet riverside. A well-designed silo hotel. About 10 minutes walk to eateries, jetty, and CBD. Riverbend Park installed multiple facilities is just next to the hotel.
Common Areas/ Facilities:
Free open carpark with CCTV. Fee payable covered carparks $15/day. Spa, hair salon, and Gym are on the ground floor. Reception area Function room, bar, and restaurant are on level 1. The guide dog is resting at the reception. Welcome drink is available there, too.
The carpet shows the room numbers clearly along the corridor. It's a good idea.
ROOM:
Tamar River Twin room is very spacious and furnished in modern style. Relaxing vibe. Two queen beds with 5 pillows each. Not many power points, but enough for us. Modern style. Clean and tidy. Mini bar has a lot of choices of drinks and snacks. Big wardrobe with large mirrors. The shower and toilet are separated into 2 cubicles. We can look over the open carparks and the river. No tall buildings block the view. Free wifi, but I didn't use
STAFF
All staff are nice and helpful (5-stared standard attitude and manner), but not robotics. Map was given to us on arrival. Willing to answer and fix the problem immediately.

An overnight visit. Great staff, fabulous room, so very comfy. Food great, and cocktails. Very welcoming. Love Archie.

Really awesome stay, the hotel and staff were fantastic, and the location was perfect. Room was spacious and lovely, and the restaurant dinner was fantastic. Great for families, it's right next to Riverbend park, which is one of the best playgrounds we've ever seen! Our family wished we could stay for longer

The staff at this location is absolutely amazing. We stayed here twice on our trip under different circumstances, planned and after a flight cancellation. We came in late and the manager on staff was so unbelievably helpful when we showed up without a reservation. The restaurant staff was helpful and we loved the meals we had there. The team at Silo is truly the best and I hope we get to stay here again in the future.

My room was fantastic. Overlooking the Tamar. Big + spacious. The lounge- bar lots of room to relax. Service was great.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The staff were helpful from the time of making the booking right through to our stay. Very nice to go away during the day and come back to everything refreshed. All the staff we encountered were friendly, kind & courteous.

Thais was a wonderful place to stay this staff was very helpful. They worked very hard to accommodate us when our flight was canceled. The best hotel employees we have had on our 10 day trip through Australia. Thanks for all your help and efforts

Perfect hotel! One night stay. Upgrade on arrival. Beautiful Labrador roaming the reception area to greet people. The room was quite spacious, with a magnificent view over the river, The bathroom was large, but the floor tiles were slippery so be careful!
We included breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and real coffee and cooked breakfast was delicious to start the day!

Beautiful rooms, easy check in. Archie the hotel dog is a great addition to our stays here

We enjoyed our visit to the Peppers Silo Launceston. Everything was fantastic.
Enjoyed our toasted sandwiches and Cappuccino's.
