Commonwealth Bank Buderim Branch

Thank you to Caitlin who attended to my friend on at least three occasions. Each time she was courteous patient efficient and sensitive to his requests. A great asset to Com Bank.

One of the staff members (randhi) dealt with my problem so personally. He made us feel heard and felt he represented commonwealth bank to a great standard.

I would like to commend the manager Jo Gatehouse. I had a fairly complex issue and the lengths she went to in helping to solve our problem was extraordinary. I would highly be recommend the Buderim branch to anyone in need of personal service. Forever grateful.

There are some very friendly, supportive, patient, and flexible staff here, The bank supporting the destructive fossil fuel industry is a downer, but that's not the fault of the staff here.

Went to bank to get some change from the coin machine : and wouldn’t accept my card which I have had 40 years with the bank : they really make it difficult these days.

First I toke cash out from the ATM (with my bank card and my correct pin)
I saw the the staff, cause of another issue, had to give my bank card, than been asked to open the comeback app on my phone, unlock it with my Face ID, and confirm a code on the app, than show my DriverLicense and been ask to sign a blank piece of paper to confirm my signature.
This was not enough proof of ID, my signature has been slightly different to the one they had on file (from 10years ago)
After resolving the issue with the manager on duty; the post-it-note with my signature, has not been shredded as promised, but scrunched by the managers hands, great job

Took my son in to set up his first bank account. Was told by a busy and distracted rude staff member to take a seat, do it online through the app and if I had any questions ask a staff member. Terrible experience and felt totally ignored for something important for us. Will go to another branch from now on and hope for better service.

One year later, went back to the same branch in Buderim to talk about our home loan. Made an appointment and arrived on time. Was told here was a cue and we had to wait. They don’t do appointments. Waited 45 minutes and walked out. Customer service still not improved!!

Horrible and rude customer service. The ATM got my money and went out of service. Tried to talk to staff, and they made me waited for 40 minutes, it wasn't even my fault! They asked me to call, had to call later to open a dispute. Worst customer service ever!

Rude greeting "you can do that on line" with no real discussion of the issue. Rude bank manager with back towards me grilling me on why I want to withdraw cash, poor communication and again "that's a third party app call them" approach to problem solving. Told I know everything so he cannot help me in front of other customers that embarrasses me. What I do know is my home loan is not with you, my investments and super not with you. No upselling of combank products, poor ambassador for MY bank. I am customer over 50 years, plenty of other bank branches in my street.

I went to this branch with certified ID for a deceased estate and have just found out the ID has been lost. Does this mean it is floating around unsecured somewhere? Now I am required to go back to a branch and complete the same process adding unnecessary time and delay.

Deposited a cheque on Tuesday. By Friday had not appeared in account. Phoned and recorded message said closed after 11am. Left message.
Checked banking account again on Monday, still not showing. Phoned bank, same message.
I want to know why taken nearly a week for cheque to show in account.
I might also add 5 months ago I purchased a new car and required a bank cheque to pay. Picked up cheque took to dealer but cheque had not been signed. Had to return to bank to get it signed,
No wonder banks are closing and Buderim looks like it will close soon.

Only 2 staff to deal with so many customers. Worst set up for banking I’ve ever seen. No privacy, heard all about everyone’s enquires. Depressing experience
