Cala Luna Italian Restaurant

A wonderful evening out experiencing some authentic Italian Cuisine. Not only was the atmosphere and decor inviting, the greeting we received when arriving warm and welcoming, and the service outstanding, the food was also cooked to perfection! Thank you so much for making the last night of our holiday one to remember as a fantastic break away from the daily grind.

This was a very special evening for myself and my partner, Ca la luna made it even more so. The friendly service, the mood of the restaurant the dishes; all on point. This restaurant deserves to be discovered by more people on the sunny coast, but the fact it’s tucked away and quiet gives this place its classy, intimate essence.

We went here for an anniversary dinner and had a superb dining experience. We were greeted by a hostess who was so warm and welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is cozy and creates a nice ambiance. The food was probably the best Italian I've had on the coast! We got the cannelloni and the seafood pasta and they were both exquisite. We will definitely be back!

Great customer service. Meals were perfect along with the atmosphere and music. Dessert was delectable 😍 We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will visit again when back on the Sunny Coast.

It was my first time i tried this restaurant’s food.. loved it, the atmosphere was soo good.. The staff were very nice and polite. The owner was also there they provide u the best service..me and my husband loved this place.. on my favourite list from now 😁 see you guys on on next weekend👍🏻

We can't recommend this restaurant enough, the owner's Timmy & Jaz what you did for us and for our wedding dinner with our guest we cannot thank you enough. Your staff Victoria & Noah (I'm not sure if that was the young man's name) but they were incredible. Your food is incredible, and we all had an amazing night we thank you so very much.

Eating at Cala Luna was an exceptional experience. The arancini, Gorgonzola pizza bread, and carbonara pasta were sensational. The red wine selection was top-notch.

Our waitress, Victoria, was outstanding. Her menu and wine knowledge was impressive, and her friendly service is what created a such a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere in the restaurant.

Despite not being a modern restaurant, Cala Luna's spacious, nostalgic environment with beach views is charming and unique.

I would highly recommend eating at Cala Luna!

Friendly welcoming customer service from Nancy. Food was flavoursome and authentic, along with the generous portions. Garlic bread a must.

The moment we arrived Victoria was amazing with her intuition and service, the food was amazing too. Had a member with complex dietary issue and it was catered to with friendly ease.

The starter had our taste buds tingling.
Our mains were delicious. They were brought out hot, within good time.
Dessert mwah.
Service was impeccable. Our hostess was welcoming and friendly, along with her staff. We will be back.

My partner and I were visiting the Sunshine Coast from Sydney, I was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the experience was at Cala Luna!

The restaurant was nostalgic and offers a humble yet inviting atmosphere. And is much bigger inside than expected!

The carbonara Pasta was perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes were very generous! The Arancini and Gorgonzola pizza bread are a must have for starters!
With 2 starters, 2 mains, a few glasses of wine and dessert we were very happy with the low price of our bill! Especially for such a wonderful experience!

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service provided by the beautiful Victoria! She welcomed us warmly with a beautiful smile and displayed impressive knowledge of both the wine and food menu. Her suggestions were spot-on, enhancing our overall dining experience.
All the staff were very polite, knowledgeable and provided exceptional service!

We will definitely be back and be recommending this wonderful little Italian restaurant located right across the beach!

Absolutely delicious food with the warmest atmosphere. The bruschetta and home baked pizza bread was the best introduction to our main meal. The Petto di Pollo al Pistacchio (pan seared chicken breast) and Costata d'agnello (grilled rack of lamb) was a taste sensation! The homemade desserts were SO more-ish! Thank you to Renae, who was perfect in her service and knowledge of our delicious meal.

We managed to get a table last minute on NYE, such a great experience, wonderful staff, very enjoyable meals. Will definitely be back.
