David Jones - Chermside

Always prefer DJ's over Myer and this visit didn't disappoint.
My main gripe and this goes for Myer too is that the cosmetic 'brand' counters are not serviced. I had an Arden product on my list but the counter was deserted and no one was interested in assisting.

I recently was shopping in the fragrance section for a couple items and I cannot give enough credit to Kim working that day, very friendly and helpful lady and knew exactly what we needed and liked. Even gave us a couple free samples that complimented our preferences immensely.

I would like to pass on my thanks to Craig and Del in Customer Service at Chermside who were so helpful with my problem. They made the process so easy and were both extremely patient.

Some staff at other stores can be uninterested, which is understandable. Kai & Nick in Menswear on Monday 13 Nov, were very knowledgeable on men's fashion, patient & extremely helpful with my son choosing clothes for formal. Thank you

I have been getting facials at Ella Bache stores for a very long time! Neena at the Ella Bache counter at David Jones is one of the best consultants I have seen! She takes great care in providing a wonderful facial experience and using products suitable to your skin. I am assured of a relaxing facial every time. If you love facials and Ella Bache I would highly recommend Neena!

Lovely department store with the best brands and attentive customer service. No need to rush. Enjoy browsing through this large multi-level spacious store with quality products attractively displayed. For me, this place is an institution with a class all of it's own. 👍

Chris in the Sealy bed section is an absolute legend. Never buy a bed when there isn’t a great sale.

This beautiful lady was so kind, patient and helpful to my mum today when needing to get a bra in the setting of a medical condition. Not only was she generous of time with my mum I noticed her amazing communication and customer service to others.

I found the staff to be helpful, polite, kind - even during the Christmas rush. It was a calming experience in the mayhem.

It is one of the most upmarket places to shop, very professional staff and great range of high quality products.

For the past two months I have been trying to find the right makeup for myself. I went to Mecca and Sephora - staff there didn’t help, when I finally did get assistance. They only provided me with a couple of samples of make up. These were completely wrong for my face. I did explain to them I don’t know anything about makeup and I needed all the help I could get. Over being provided minimal help, I decided to go to David jones Lancôme make up area. There was a guy there that put in 100% effort. He tried a fair few (more than 2 samples on my face) and he found the right match of foundation for my face. I really appreciate what the Lancôme assistant guy did for me, providing full service. Not just quick couple of samples from what Mecca and Sephora staff did.

Today I had the pleasure of purchasing Dior perfume from the lady who worked at Dior in your store. She was so lovely, so genuine, and helped me purchase the perfect Christmas present for my mum. I wish I knew her name. She was so kind, she wrapped my purchase, and was super helpful. Shopping around this time can be daunting specially when no one makes the effort to great you or just be nice. I will definitely return for future purchases.

I had 4 items to return and I also wanted to purchase something online that had a glitch and I couldn't do it myself. The ladies helping me were really helpful. One was in training and I loved how patient and respectful was the other lady towards her.

I went with my daughter to buy 4 pairs of chinos long pants at a great price, what made our day was the customer service from Amy, she was so polite, smiled and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thankyou
