Attic Cafe & Take Away

This very quiet, modest cafe has a delightful secret; the most delicious breakfast dish that is presented so beautifully with a sprig of rosemary and marigolds making a cheerful start to the day. A generous serve of both salmon and avocado has me planning a return trip the next time I'm on the Sunshine Coast. The coffee is worth a revisit as well, so much so I ordered another to take away with me. The owner is happy to oblige patrons who request changes to the dishes. A wonderfully simple, heart-warming experience, thank you Ian for your hospitality 🙏🌻

We found the Attic Cafe during a short stay at Alexandra Headland and are so glad we did. It's only a small place but it has a big heart. The staff/owners are very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and plentiful. And the coffee is superb. There's even a cosy couch and a small book exchange if you just want to sit and veg out with your drink and something to read. We ended up having breakfast and coffees there every day. (See photos) Highly recommended.

Small and cosy Cafe that does fantastic breakfast... especially the pancakes that comes with the half and half breakfast. Everyone needs to know about this place. Highly recommend!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting this sweet little cafe yesterday. The food is amazing and presentation is exceptional. I had a chicken salad wrap followed by lemon slice and coffee. Hubby had chicken caesar salad followed by Orange almond cake. Hubby said it's the best caesar salad he's ever had.

It was also lovely to meet a man in today's world that not only has integrity, morals and ethics but courage in his convictions. Ian, I wish you all the best and look forward to our next visit for some awesome service and food.

We had breakfast here with our 3 young children. Great atmosphere, couch for the children to sit and read books that were provided. Wonderful old fashioned service. Sometimes eating out with young kids can be a concern, but the two staff working that morning interacted so well with our children and made for a very enjoyable dining experience. Will certainly revisit on our next holiday to Alexandra Headland.

I think anyone would be impressed with the food, coffee and customer service here. Pancakes were done just right, so were the bacon, muesli, tropical frappe and the flat whites. The prices are fair and the location is perfect. The staff are really, genuinely lovely. We will be back.

Such a lovely place for a family breakfast. It may look small place but its so cosy and the people are friendly. They made excellent breakfast. All the 12 members of family enjoyed every bit of it.

What a gem!! Unassuming little place on the main drag, opposite the surf club. Fantastic service, great prices and the iced coffee!!! A terrific end to a holiday - wish we had gone there a bit earlier, but will be back. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. Loved it.

A little gem! The Attic is an unpretentious, friendly cafe with great food, and excellent coffee. I always appreciate vegetarian options when eating out and this place has many.

Delicious coffee, and the club sandwich is amazing! Service is great and great value for money I drop by every few days for a smoothie when I walk the dogs along the beach.

Great location across the road from the beach and skate park. Nice chilled place to eat a good meal. I had a vegetarian combo meal and my girlfriend had a club sandwich, both very good.

Best coffee and breakfast on the Sunshine Coast. A little gem of a place. Our go to when on holidays. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Everyone needs to go and try you won't be sorry.
