White Sands Holiday Rental Island Beach Kangaroo Island

We thoroughly enjoyed White Sands and it was very difficult to draw ourselves away from it and return home. We enjoyed the sights and people of KI, yet equally enjoyed sitting in the front room on the comfy couch, warm and cosy from the winter sun, reading. It felt like a beach house, from the photos on the walls, decorative artificial plants and baskets, right down to the pebble-like flooring. And the place was clean and fresh. The plush blankets were luxurious. We also were lucky enough to use the kayaks, which were a lot of fun. The beach, which is almost on the doorstep, should be rated one of Australia's best beaches, with its soft white sand and clear water. And on top of all that, Kevin was always available in the lead up and during the holiday. Also as there were no patrons directly before or after us, he kindly allowed us entry before 2pm and allowed us to stay beyond 10am so we could stay until we caught the ferry at 1.30pm. Plus, White Sands is in a very convenient location, only 20 mins from Penneshaw, so it was easy for us to gather supplies from the IGA. I can't recommend this place or the host, highly enough!

I highly recommend this accommodation for a larger family. It's a beautiful house with all modern furniture and appliances. Walking distance too a gorgeous beach. If staying for awhile stock up with supplies when getting of the ferry. Kevin and Sue are friendly and very helpful. PIECE OF PARADISE

Great place with plenty of charm. Close to the beach and only 17 mins from the ferry. We really enjoyed our stay. Five stars for sure. I would highly recommend staying there.
