Bucking Seahorse Cafe

My friend and I often return to this hidden beautiful gem. Returned again today, Easter Monday. Staff were so generous they gave us extra and greeted us when we walked in, acknowledging we were frequent visitors. The cafe is behind all the shops at the front, walk through an arcade, and find in the back street. The staff are amazing, they smile, they are joyous and generous. Food and price is great. Very child-friendly (I watched today children freely play and laugh.) I am a spiritual person and they cater to those needs. We have often used/borrowed for free their tarot cards, and there's also other uplifting books/resources. There is a beautiful painted mural on one wall. The atmosphere is great and it attracts positivity and like-minded patrons. So not only a great cup of chai, and apple muffin, but you come away feeling renewed and healed. You can also spend as much time in there as you want: the staff do not push you to leave. Sea-horse aptly named for spiritually this creature heals etc. Thanks, guys, for my friend and I always love coming and only to you since discovering you about year and half ago.

Amazing atmosphere, good food and the staff were so friendly and accommodating with my food allergies. My pups also had an amazing time and super enjoyed their pupccinos!
Been back few times for the take away coffees and cheaky wines!

Found this cute little cafe while I was walking around Mooloolaba! Such cool and unique vibes and the staff there were so nice and made me feel so welcome! The food was great and the coffee was even better!!! Will come back every time I’m up on the Sunshine Coast!!

Pioneer specialty coffee is beautifully made by awesome baristas here. It’s more about the atmosphere and people though and it is undeniably the friendliest, most fun cafe in Mooloolaba with the best music. Enjoy the local vibes, the tourists can have the front of the esplanade.

Amazing little Cafe/Bar. Stayed across the road and this was our coffee hit every morning. After 1 visit the staff new my name and order and for the rest of the holiday it was as if i had been a regular for years. The muffins and wraps were fresh daily and always on point. Staff were so happy to be there even at 530am and polite to everyone who walked in the door. I would happly walk the Whole esplinade to get to this Cafe. AMAZING JOB BY THE WHOLE STAFF.

Lovely coffee, they had gluten free option available 😍 and adjusted to dairy free for my annoying needs! Happy faces and such a cute little set up and feel. I was even able to enjoy reading a few pages of one of their books 😍 I’ll definitely be back to try those cocktails and cheese platters 💪🏻

The best chai tea on the coast! They also make great coffees. Excellent atmosphere, great staff, always friendly and accommodating. Love our local cafe so much!

Such a hidden gem in mooloolaba best customer service got greeted right as I walked in the door with lovely ladies I felt very taken care of to make sure my order was too the best ability made with love. I’ve never been anywhere else with yummy fresh sandwiches like theirs it was delicious made with lots of love and they even have a very special unquie coffee beans Indonesian, Columbian and Brazil all in the one been! best coffee i’ve ever had! I definitely recommend!!

The baristas are so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a place to hideaway and feel comfortable.

My favorite Coffee House of all time. Fantastic coffee but just as important fantastic staff. Always feel welcomed. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast and pleasant. The owners are just good people working hard to make a living but they do it with a smile and a great outlook. Just a good place to go to be around good honest people, great service and great coffee. Highly recommended.

Just an add on comment. Still the best coffee house on Sunshine Coast. The staff are incredible and the coffee is always spot on. Can still highly recommend.

Such a cute space. Very friendly staff. Off the main drag tucked away with a surprisingly magical indoor dining area and a leafy quiet outdoor area.

We spent Friday night at a 60th birthday party. The service was amazing, next level. We were never left without a glass of water or a drink and the guys somehow remembered what we were drinking. The food was delicious and drinks wonderful. Fantastic entertainment and the duo had just the right noise level and played great songs. The outside area was excellent as well if you needed to get some fresh air. I would highly recommend the Bucking Seahorse.

Two of us grabbed the wrap and coffee special on our way out of town Friday morning. Wraps delicious and the young lady made the best macchiato I’ve had in a long time.

Hidden gem of Mooloolaba. Great coffee and lovely staff. We’ve been getting our morning coffee from the Bucking Seahorse during holidays over last four years. Never fails. Thanks again for April 2023 and we’ll see you again soon!
