Ralph's Garage

I've been taking my cars to Ralph's garage for a few years now. They provide good honest service for a competitive price. They're one of the highest rated mechanics in Brisbane for a reason.

The only bad thing I could say is that you'll have to wait at least a week for a booking to be available. Good mechanics are in high demand so I think that speaks to the exemplary work they do.

Even now living an hour out of Brisbane it's worth bringing my car in.

I find the mechanics very friendly and their pricing is reasonable. I wanted to get my light globe changed and other 3 mechanics were charging me 30$ (in outer suburbs) and these guys did it for 15$. The service is good. I don't live in westend anymore but I always drive to them if I have any car trouble.

Friendly staff, experienxed, professional and courteous! Work is reasonably priced. I was explained options and recommended what I felt was the right option.

Great first experience at Ralph's having recently moved to the area, got my Rav4 booked in within a week, serviced and new brake pads. Communication was excellent throughout with pricing options provided up front.
I felt I could really trust Simo and his team which is key given my lack of knowledge on cars- highly recommend!

The words are not enough to praise these guys specifically Simmo! Such a nice man down to earth. Always helpful and do the best he can to solve your problems. If he cannot do it gives you the best recommendations. Best in Brisbane hands down. Love this garage. ❤

Simmo and crew are second to none at what they do. The only mechanic's you'll need. They're always friendly and explain everything in plain terms which is especially helpful for someone like me who only knows about bricks and the Newcastle Knights football teams.

Ralph and Simmo are decent honest guys. I’ve always had good experiences taking vehicles to the garage. They’ve often given me solid advice that has probably saved me time and money in the long run.

As a young female I was nervous that I would get "ripped off". However, I was informed from the beginning, updated on work/costs and they fixed my car when others couldn't. Great service!

the only garage that let me stop by to listen to a noise under my car. due to new year it was unfortunately not possible to get the parts to fix my car. (Not something that needs to be fixed right away.) They gave me all the information that I needed so I can book an appointment somewhere else as I was just driving through the city. Very great full for the help! Now I can drive with a good feeling.

Ralph's Garage is only 200m from my house but for some reason I have never serviced my car there before. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, the experience has been GREAT (all the reviews are correct). Simmo and the team were fantastic!!!! The price is quite reasonable too. I'll DEFINITELY come back for my next service *thumb up*

Unlike our 1-Star friend, "Len Haz", I've always found Ralph's Garage to be competitive on price, even with the quoting of imports and the quality of work. The team have always been informative and polite, as well as well-educated on the best way to proceed. Their team is fantastic to deal with in every respect. Truly passionate people.

My car broke down as I was driving to work. Ralph’s was so responsive and available, they took my car in and turned it around in a day (thanks to a cancellation they had), providing updates along the way.

Simmo (the boss) and Henry were faultless. They are old school in their approach. They offer affordable, professional and friendly service. I have high standards and they exceeded my expectations in all areas. I would not go passed them. They have brought much joy to my life.

Had a general service completed. The guys were timely, professional and gave me a complete assessment of my car. They also sourced out a part that I need, plus quotes on all short term future maintenance and repairs that will be required.

They were fantastic. Needed a flat tyre plugged. They were flat out and managed to fit me in within the hour. Staff were so friendly and old school. The boss was just lovely. One of the mechanics even dropped the psi down during his lunch break. I’ve not experienced service like that since the 70’s. Very few places like that left in Brisbane. So Chuffed.

Simmo is a lovely, friendly bloke who has built a great team. When they call to tell me how much a bigger job will cost, they sound apologetic and it it is always less than I expect. They always explain their work with complete transparency. Highly recommended, including for women, LGBTIQ folks, and people concerned about their budget.
