Amazing friendly service. A family run garage that not only gave advice on my car without hesitation but also travel advice.They squeezed me into a tight schedule and fairly priced me on all work, unlike the Bosch garage down the road. I will 100% come back for any car issues.

Kev is a down to earth old school honest mechanic and was able to fix a steering column issue on an i20 without replacing the whole unit. He also lets you know what is worth fixing and what is not. Arlene who does the invoicing is lovely too and every service has been done on time.

Kev also did a quick car check on my second hand Kia Carnival before I bought it and picked up a leaking shock absorber which was replaced under warranty.

His pricing is reasonable based on the prime location in West End. Everything he charges is for the work they actually perform and the parts they use. Not like some of the big car dealers that completely overbook their service team which then have to skip on their service but still charge for it like air filters or oil change.

So if you are looking for a down to earth mechanic in a convenient location I can definitely recommend him.

After having a few dodgy mechanics in the past, I read a few great google reviews about Arc Mechanical and decided to ask them to help with a sound from my car.
Kevin and Arlene were nothing short of amazing and helped me with my issue with a smile.
They offered advice without any obligations and fixed the issue quickly at such a great price too!

Have been going to this mechanic since I first owned a car (18 years). The reason being not only are they experts at their job but they provide a welcoming atmosphere which is second to none. They always explain to me the what, why and how of what needs to be done!!! 5 out of 5 stars and I'd throw on a couple extra if it would let me.

I have been taking fleet and private vehicles including 4WDs to Kev Castle mechanical for more than 20 years.

In that time Kev and Nathan have provided hundreds of log book services and repairs.

The previous review is incomprehensible. Keeping my car in sound mechanical condition at a fair price is important to me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The most honest and helpful mechanic you will find. They've done a great job for us on a few occasions and did an awesome job on a friends car who was visting from interstate when her transmission had a problem. Highly recommended.

It was a good experience, got charged $356 for a car service. My car was making a few funny sounds and rattles that i wanted them to investigate, in addition to the normal service.
They said things are mostly okay, and i drove off.

Friendly and efficient at a reasonable price. Found and fixed some of those niggling problems on an ageing car that others overlooked. Very happy camper! 👍
