Il Molo is the perfect place to wind down on a Friday evening. With the beautiful city and Brisbane River as the backdrop, it's so easy to just sit there while you enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine, sip on some wine and just watch the world go by.
We picked the outdoor seating area around the time of sunset, and it was absolutely lovely. Food was amazing! Couldn't fault it.
Even though the place was busy, the waiters were very attentive.
We would definitely be back again!

My husband and I had a fabulous lunch at Il Molo yesterday, a birthday celebration. Delicious authentic italian food of a high standard, friendly and efficient service, and a relaxed ambience, all made our day very enjoyable.We chose the vegetarian options; scagliozzi with a limoncello spritz, followed by autonno pizza with contorni of greens, ending with a melt in the mouth almond and pear tarte. We will be visiting again for sure.

Caring staff, nice n breezy with fresh air and best of all the food was sensational. Sitting in or out is great, most CityCat foot traffic is on the other side. Parking in the street and walk back if you drive. Away from the madness of main Bulimba.

Wow, I just had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant and I can't stop raving about it! I made a reservation for my Dad's 70th birthday before taking him to a show at the Powerhouse, and I have to say, it was the perfect start to a wonderful evening. From the delicious food to the attentive manager and wait staff, the cozy ambiance, everything was just perfect! I can't thank them enough for making my Dad's birthday dinner such a special occasion. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience, and I can't wait to go back myself!

What a fantastic experience! I booked a banquet for 15 people to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional and the food and beverages were top notch. Thanks to the staff we felt relaxed and able to enjoy a memorable celebration. We can't wait to go back. Five stars!

Il Molo has an amazing spot at the end of Oxford Street, overlooking the brown snake and with a view of the Woolstore on the opposite river bank. The restaurant was designed for get-to-gathers for friends and family. With its Italian cuisine it caters for vegetarians, seafood lovers and carnivores all at once. There’s some easy drinking wines on the menu, white, rose or red and a small selection of beers. Peroni on tap! We had warmed olives, arancini, pizza, gamberi, fettuccini, melanzane and a steak. Our table was outside and this setting proved to be easy going and fun. Worth a try. XO

Lovely place for a meal right on the bulimba river. Great staff, great food. HIGHLY recommend trying their Hugo spritz it is amazing 😍 and beef carpaccio

Fantastic Italian food, great service. Shared the linguini as an entree - outstanding! Risottos for mains - will be back again for sure!

I love how close this restaurant is to the ferry terminal in Bulimba. Coming from Teneriffe, I can get a ferry over really convenient!
I met a friend here. This is a great place to catch up with friends, have a meal with your partner, and/or take your parents out for a meal.
The setting and view is lovely!
The service was good. Our waiter was really friendly and professional and had good wine knowledge.
The wine list is interesting and the two suggestions we were given for white wine by the glass were really nice, especially the soave.
Sadly, the only disappointment was the food I had. I ordered the rollatini. The eggplant was chewy and dry. The flavours of the dish were fine, though.
My friends' aranici balls were nice. The calamari was average.
I've not eaten here before, so I'll go again and try something else in the hope that I just chose poorly or they had an issue that day.

What a wonderful Italian experience on the Brisbane Riverside. Picking from the Menu was ready for us both, as there is something for everybody. Lovely wine suggestion went beautifully with our meal. Happy, happy, happy

Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, staff really lovely and attentive. We had a large group, they managed dietaries effortlessly, the food was exceptional and a great selection of Mocktails.
By the river and fans overhead so really pleasant to sit for a long lunch. I’m only wish we had visited sooner.

Eaten here a few times recently, food has been excellent each visit, service has been good.

We had a fabulous lunch! The restaurant was packed to the rafters, and the service from the staff was still attentive and prompt! The food was very tasty with substantial portion sizes. A wonderful vibe right there beside the ferry, great food and delicious wine. The Tiramisu was so yummy! Thank you.

First time going to Il Molo, great location, parking, friendly staff and the food was great. We are looking forward in booking in again in the near future.

Staff were lovely. Food was delicious. I particularly loved the pizza with pumpkin.
I advise you to bring insect repellent due to the mosquitoes in the outdoor areas

My husband and I had a child free evening and spontaneously decided to try iL Molo. It was a wonderful experience! We were seated promptly even without a booking and the kitchen remained open a little later to accomodate us. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. The location is wonderful with river city views. The perfect place for a nice romantic walk along the river after. I’m looking forward to visiting this location again soon.

My partner has to have gluten free pasta and ahhh my god it is good!
