Kalua Holiday Apartments

Great family getaway with the kids. Unit 26 had everything we needed to entertain them. A quick walk to the Italian restaurant across the road was great and convenient for take away, especially for families that have small kids with early bedtimes.

A short walk to the beach which is always handy for parents with toddlers. Kids loved the pool and never wanted to leave.

Love this spot - cannot recommend it enough! We stay here regularly with our kids and often bring along another family too. They have a great 3 bed apartment which sleeps 8 people (2 bunks for 4 kids - if there's one way to get a kid to be happier to go to bed, it's putting them in a bunk).

The location and amenities are fantastic. Beach just across the road, heated pool for when it's cooler, tennis court, grassy areas to relax and a games room for when it's wet!

We had a great stay here. Great apartment for a family. Plenty of room. Pool was heated which was great in May. Great location across from the beach.

Our second time staying here and Unit 26 Kalua is one of the best units we’ve stayed in at the Sunshine Coast. As we only get a limited time a year for vacations, this unit set up and location is perfect for some time away with our family, Clean and well presented with easy set up for the kids in the bunk beds. We will be back in the near future, again.

Our family booked a 2-night getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The stand out feature was the service from the friendly and welcoming manager. She was accommodating, helpful and caring and made our stay extremely wonderful.

The accommodation was excellent, a spacious apartment with sea views next to the beach and near cafes, restaurants, bakery and shops. A regular bus service is a couple of minutes walk away, allowing trips up and down the Sunshine Coast and airport. This complex is well maintained, secure and has attractive grounds. I’ll be back.

I had a 3 bed 2 bath apartment. It was clean and tidy. It is close to everything beaches, bars, restaurants and sunshine plaza for shopping. I took myself and 4 children aged 2, 12 and 21. They really enjoyed themselves. The pool and spa are clean and working perfectly.

Stayed as a family. Great apartment, very clean and the location is spot on. Across the road from the beach and within walking distance to cafe and eateries. Pool in the complex is very clean and well maintained. Managers are super friendly people. Would love to come back and stay again. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy a break.

Brian and Kerry are excellent hosts! We stayed a month and luved it. Booking directly with them was very easy and they were extremely understanding with the current (on/off) travel restrictions. Our apartment was incredibly spacious for a one bedroom. Full size kitchen, large lounge and separate bedroom. Lovely clean pool and all round a perfect place to relax. Great location with the beach across the road, beautiful sunrises and fun surf. The are alot of options with restaurants and shopping down the street.

My family had a very pleasant stay in a 3 bedroom apartment. The place was spacious, neat, clean and well equipped. More so, Brian and Kerry the property managers were very friendly and hospitable. Their services were excellent. Will highly recommend it to my friends.

The apartment (1 Bdrm) was perfect. A spacious lounge and kitchen with every thing you could possibly need. A lovely touch with quality furnishings and all the little extras to make you feel at home. Bed was super comfortable and really enjoyed the balcony view.

Room was very spacious and clean with a lovely view of the ocean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool and spa were lovely and refreshing. Position was great over the road from the beach and within walking distance to surf club and restaurants. Very relaxing.

We have been staying at Kalua Apartments for over 20 years & just love it. Easy access to the pool, 2 BBQ areas & the one around the back has a big grassed area for games.
It is in amazing location across the road from the beach & a short walk to flagged area. Lots of restaurants, shops & bars all within walking distance.
Wouldn’t stay anywhere else & it is looked after by the most amazing managers too.

Very impressed. The staff were fantastic with the booking of the room and helped me add another day without any problems. Late check in - no problem, easy access, VERY clean, tidy and had everything we could wish for for our special weekend away! I could not find a single thing wrong with the room or service and I am usually very particular about places I stay. Highly recommend this for any occasion. Close to the beach... not far from the shops... I will definitely be back!

Great room with view of beach. Lots of room. Well equipped room with lots of cooking utensils/items. In room washing machine and dryer. Good pool and bbq area. Very close to patrolled beach. Loved it. Helpful staff even though we accidentally booked two rooms instead of one. We managed to get a full refund for the 2nd room.

We had a townhouse with2 bedrooms. Lots of room both upstairs and downstairs. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Local cafes and pub within walking distance. Management was welcoming. Close to the beach

Nicely maintained and clean. And surrounded by gardens, makes it more relaxing, than the concrete jungle types. Would definitely stay there again. And run by lovely people.
