Nice food and drinks. They have done a great job creating a lovely lush outdoor area, masking the fact it is metres from a main road. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Their function room was lovely! Lots of great food deals throughout the week.

This is a large, airy and super comfy place with masses of tables in various different dining areas, inside and outside.

We had taken the precaution of booking ahead for a Thursday night, but it wasn’t necessary, as there was plenty of space available. That’s not to say that it was empty though, far from it, there was a decent turnout, but being so big, there’s room for everyone who wants to dine here.

The decor is colourful and bright with maritime and sporty themes. There are high tables and bar stools, wooden floors, a large bar counter and ample strong lighting. It all works well to create a cheerful and welcoming space that’s warm and homely. It’s the kind of place that, the moment you walk into, you feel at ease and relaxed, and we enjoyed dining here.

Being a Thursday, the special of the day was the chicken parmigiana and a drink (beer or wine) for a reasonable $25. My wife and I dined, we availed ourselves of this offer and we weren’t disappointed. And in a nice touch, a pretty waitress with a mask came to our table and offered to take our order. That was handy, as it meant that we didn’t have to go up to the bar counter ourselves and wait around to place our order. It was all done extremely efficiently, and our waitress was friendly and polite. Drinks and meals came out quickly and in the correct order. Fast and efficient service is the hallmark of a professionally run establishment and full marks to the Paddo because they excelled at that. But one can tell that the guys who run this place know what they’re about, because it hums like a well oiled machine. All the staff are professional in their attitude, neatly attired, polite and hardworking. It’s a pleasure to dine in such a place.

Our chicken “parmies” as they call them, were fresh and tasty dishes and we both enjoyed our meals. The chicken was tender and succulent, cooked in a crispy batter, and covered with lashings of cheese, topped with ham and served with a nice dollop of wholesome salad and crunchy chips. A delicious meal, and a decent serving size too. You’ll never leave here hungry. The only thing that I wasn't mad about was the camp-style tin plates, mine slightly chipped as well. I prefer regular porcelain crockery, tin plates don’t turn me on.

Toilets are in the corner, there are adequate male and female cubicles, but the 1980s hand dryer in the gents could probably do with an upgrade!

We found easy parking just behind the Paddo in nearby Campbell Street, where there didn’t appear to be any after-hours restrictions.

Altogether, a fab night at the Paddo, with a relaxed, casual and laid back atmosphere, excellent food and fast, friendly service. Making a booking was easy via their website. We received immediate confirmation via email and a reminder the day before.

First of all!! Shout out to the amazing service Ive received this afternoon. Beautiful set up outside (heaps of plants) and very welcoming inside. Staff are very attentive and accommodating to your needs. Good setting and great vibes! Definitely recommend🙏

We both had the every-reliable Paddo Burger. Quality, juicy perfection. But what really sets the Paddo apart is the service level. Attentive staff confidently offering extra flexibility. Special mention to Dawn. Professional operation.

I attend the pub for all sorts of occasions
It’s handy to Suncorp stadium being 300 metres walk down the hill!
I get to the annual big red wine tasting night as well as the champagne tasting if I can snag an elusive ticket! The outside terrace provides a great space to relax

I run an over 60’s social group on the Northside and usually have at least 20 for our fortnightly lunches. Well how lucky were we to end up in the small function room! ALL the staff esp “Chappy” were just amazing and fun. Food was good too along with fair wine pricing. We had such a great time we’ve booked again for our Xmas party! Well done the Paddo and all her staff!

From the moment I stepped into Paddo Hotel, the ambiance promised a night that would not disappoint, and true to its word, it didn't. The hotel's commitment to excellence is evident from the decor to the diligent staff who welcome each guest with a warm smile.

Whether you're a foodie or looking for a healthy dose of humor, Paddo Hotel delivers. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone in search of great food and great entertainment under one roof.

Has to be one of the best pubs in Brisbane

I held a function for 20+ people at the Paddo yesterday and it was a PERFECT venue for a function.
I was able to make a booking for 20 (without having to pay a deposit), they had an all day menu to choose from, the sweet potato chips were delicious, there was live music from 5pm (and he was really good!), the staff catered for every need, the outdoor deck is covered and the atmoshpere was pumping!! Can't wait to return for the next get together!! Well done The Paddo!!

We were in the function room which was set up very nicely. Interesting bike work on the walls and hanging art as well. Food and service was great as well. Covid safe protocols followed.

This place is my go to with clients pre match, the steak is 5 stars. The service is awesome even on busy nights.

Nice pub people, one of the old school staples of the city still running great, foods always been not too bad for me and atmosphere is always great as well. they also have pool tables which is few and far between establishments these days. If got a lazy Arvo or drinks before town come down and give the ole paddo a crack

Well organised staff with a great array of drinks and food. Caters for everyone. Clean and well laid out for a great afternoon or evening out. Caters for larger groups and get togethers at none to minimal cost.

Love the paddo, here for BNI functions at least twice per month. Food always great and service exceptional. Keep it up Paddo, ur so hard to beat

Awesome Guinness Pie and cold beer. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Im betting this place pumps of a Saturday night, especially if the footy is on.
