Boroughs of New York Woodfired Pizza

Being new to Newstead, my partner and I have been searching for a new local pizza joint - and Boroughs has definitely secured that spot.

The Eggs Benedict calzone blew my mind, it may be the best restaurant dish I've ever consumed - everything was perfect.

We also had two " massive slices " which are 1/4th of an 18 inch pizza.

We tried the Rockefeller and the Downtown BBQ Chicken - both absolutely delicious.

This is definitely the best dough I've ever tasted, they really care about the details. The ham in the calzone is also the most incredible ham I have ever consumed.

11/10, great service, great fit out and just a bloody good pizza joint.

This place is so good for pizza 🍕. They have a gigantic wooden oven where they make pizza. You can find both vegetarian and non vegetarian pizza at this place.. super tasty and delicious 😋.. would recommend to visit this place.

Maybe because it was relatively quiet because I had a fantastic experience with these guys. Friendly and fast, I had two pizzas ready in under 15 mins. Loved the style of the base as deep pan is generally to bready and thin and crispy is never done crispy enough IMO. Yeah they are a little pricey, but hey, you are in the city.

And after having a look through some recent reviews, I think some of the negativity should be directed at delivery services.

Keep up the good work guys. I'll buy from you again next time I'm in the area.

Amazing pizza made with wood fire,the 18 inch pizza can feed 4 people. Very good for sharing!You can choose two flavours for the 18 inch. Pricing is very acceptable for the quality.

I am so stoked with the HUGE vegan menu offered at Boroughs of New York! Pizza is the one thing I haven't been able to cross off my "Yeah that's just as good vegan" list - until now! We had the vegan woodfired pepperoni & it was absolutely perfect. The cheese had the exact consistency I'm searching for & the flavours were on point. Thanks so much guys.

Excellent pizzas. Ordered two pizzas. Best Four cheese pizza around, very good. I ordered a Central Park pizza as well, it is a veggie pizza with a fancy name, that pizza will be much better if the veggies were grilled PRIOR to baking the pizza in the oven. Dough is nice and well flavoured. Polite and well mannered staff. Over all, very good. I will be back for more.

Nice place to dine, very friendly staff and helpfull for swaping the french fries for the chilli meat fries during ordering the buffalo rib steak. Next time I will order pizza!

Came here on the way home and very pleased :), got called sir multiple times made me feel important. Pizza was pretty good to match

Pizza is delicious. Staff is amazingly friendly and the service is perfect. They even clean the pizza slicer after each pizza. Thank you for the great experience !

This place is really solid. It's the closest thing to authentic New York pizza I have found in Brisbane, and they offer huge pizzas at an acceptable price. They don't offer garlic bread, but I think putting garlic knots on the menu would be an easy way to make this place top-notch authentic. I would come in way more often if they were open for lunch on the weekends, but hours are very limited so I only get there once every couple of months.

Ordered delivery after driving past & seeing a wood fire oven inside the restaurant.
The driver called on his way & again when he arrived at our hotel. The pizzas were delivered inside the time they suggested & nice & hot. Great Service! Delicious Pizza! So glad we ordered here instead of the closer local cheap conveyer oven pizza!!!!

I am from Manhattan. This means I am stupidly pretentious about my pizza. The owner is from Staten Island. He got it right. Best pizza in Australia. Crust is thin, and never doughy. Sauce is good, and toppings are good. There is lots of vegetarian, and vegan options. If you REALLY want better pizza, you gotta leave this country.

Went there last with my family and must say, best pizza I've had in a long time. You can tell the pizza was cooked with love 🤣. Also service 5 star as well. If you're in need of good pizza, I highly recommend this establishment.

Without doubt my fave pizza place in Brisbane. Not Neapolitan style which is what I love the best. If you love the American style pizza then this is your place.Pepperoni is the reeeal deal, but simple cheese is my favourite ... there hasn’t been a pizza that hasn’t been delicious when we have gone to Boroughs

Ask it for extra crisp and you will never go back to dominos ... 11/10

The best pizza I’ve had in Brisbane. Really thin crust with just right amount of toppings. And the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Thanks BONY. We miss you in Carindale!

Ewten here a few times now, and the pizza is honestly the best I've had in Brisbane. Not only flavour, toppings & selection but the SIZE! Yes it can be a little pricey for an 18" pizza but I think it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!

We are from the US and nothing has come close to boroughs in terms of quality and taste in Brisbane. We love this place! My only wish would be slightly larger salads. But pie wise this place is top notch and can’t be beat.

Sometimes the biggest is the best, and Boroughs of New York (or BONY as the local pizza community call it) are large and in charge when it comes to pizza in Brisbane.

Whatever style of pizza you get, get an 18" family size. Go half-and-half toppings with a fellow pizza aficionado for extra variety. Watch the chef spin the dough, generously sprinkle some quality toppings, and lovingly place your new favourite pizza into a woodfired oven.

I've visited their Fortitude Valley location more times than I'd willingly admit online. I went there yesterday and I'll be back sooner than you might think.

Picked by random google search and NOT disappointed. Hands down one of the best pizzas I have ever had, and such value. If you like authentic wood oven pizza, simple, quality ingredients and a crust so perfect I've only had better in Italy, this is the place for you.
