Cruise Whitsundays

I was not sure about going on such a big boat as I hate crowds but I thought the kids would love it and yes it was busy but we still had a really great day! We were lucky to get the most beautiful weather so it was absolutely magic out there on the pontoon for the day. It was quite busy and hectic in the water with all the people and I have never had so many collisions with other swimmers (snorkelers in this case 😄) before but the water was glorious and the fish were amazing! We saw a beautiful turtle swimming around the pontoon. The lunch and morning and afternoon tea was great and very enjoyable for the whole family although I did see they ran out of a couple of things before everyone had eaten, was an extra busy day. The crew were all fabulous and very helpful, thanks for a great day guys! We really enjoyed it, a fantastic day on the Reef for the family! Definitely recommend!

I love taking the ferry. I work on Hamilton Island so I take it whenever I want groceries I can't find on the island. The staff are always very sweet and thoughtful. The captains are incredibly clear and I always feel so safe. When I catch a ferry from Port of Airlie back to the island the people at the front desk always take great care of me!

We recently went on the Camira for the day with the Cruise Whitsundays team. Could not recommend them highly enough. We had a beautiful, sunny but slightly windy day but apart from a slightly bumpy ride over to the islands you could have hardly known it was windy. Tides allowed us to get up the hill for one of the best views you will ever see (the pics don’t do it justice trust me). After that we got some time at the beach before an incredible BBQ lunch on the boat and then some snorkelling. The bar was constantly stocked with cold drinks and the crew were all so friendly, accomodating, and are keen for a laugh and a yarn. If you are thinking about a day out in Whitsundays couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks guys.

We went to Hamilton Island on Saturday 19th august and started to Daydream Island at 2:30pm with Whitsundays cruise it was amazing feeling, we went to Great Barrier Reef on Sunday with Whitsundays cruise and I really enjoyed to my fullest in the Ferry, the water is green and blue, we watched whales 🐳. Awesome staff especially Beatriz was amazing, she showed me Octopus and many colourful fishes in the “Great Barrier Reef”. She was very friendly and given me lots of information about the corals 🪸 and fishes🐠. I hope she gets all the success she deserves. All the best Beatriz. I recommend everyone to visit once in their life to enjoy The Beautiful adventures in the ferry, Food was good, I purchased a tortoise 🐢 to remember the cruise for my lifetime. I and my husband loved the journey with Whitsundays cruise ❤

Okay so I am currently on my way back to port of Airlie from the half day Whitehaven tour and I’m so impressed I feel compelled to write a review.

The perfect length day for those with kids, plenty of activities on the beach and ice cold drinks! What more could you want?!?

Staff were attentive and pleasant, boat was clean and organised and of course the scenery was second to none.

Great trip.
The walk to the Marina Tavern on Hamilton Island was a bit of a trek for me.

Otherwise I'm very happy with the day out.

Yes, I highly recommend this tour for anyone contemplating the Whitsundays as a holiday destination.

Great trip out. The staff were amazing and the captain gave loads of information out, on the trip out. Stopped at a few places before whithaven beach. Such a great trip.

Booked a day tour from Airlie beach visiting Whitehaven and Hamilton island, Staff were welcoming and accommodating on boat .
Unfortunately conditions did not suit for Whitehaven so we were taken to chance bay instead (this was a little disappointing but no one controls weather )
Chance bay was beautiful and cruise Whitsundays supplied stinger suits and free water based activities
Morning tea was included in the cruise and included things like yoghurt fruits and cookies this was also delicious.
Hamilton island was our second half of the day with lunch included at marina tavern.
We thoroughly enjoyed Hamilton island and would love to come back!
Wish we hired the golf buggy’s though !

There is a bar which you can purchase alcoholic beverages and bottled water , drinks and snacks !

Overall one happy family !

Today we did the full trip and wow what fun! The captian Chris and the crew Connor and everyone where amazing!!!!
Would highly recommend going! Worth every penny.
Food was great, drinks were glowing cold and everything was so relaxing!

This tour far exceeded our expectations. At first we thought it would be too touristy. It was not that at all. The tour guides were friendly, funny and informative. They really made sure everyone was having a good time. The lunch was great, where they served cooked prawns, meatballs and curries. It also didn't ever feel too crowded at all. Highly recommended

My wife and I took the half day cruise to Whitehaven Beach from Airlie Beach, and it didn't disappoint. Winds were about 30 knots, so conditions promised to be rough, but the skipper was very sensitive to passenger comfort, with frequent communication and course variations to minimise motion sickness. The crew members were also diligent in monitoring passenger wellbeing, and ready with a sick bag, reassurance and a smile for those few unfortunates who didn't enjoy the sea spray and the rock-and-roll ride in small unavoidable sections of rough water. The cruise itself is great value - not only do you get a nice morning tea and about 2 hours on Whitehaven (which is more than enough to swim, sunbathe and explore the nearby lookouts) but you also cruise past many scenic Whitsunday Islands and get a glimpse of both Hamilton and Daydream Island resorts. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our cruise experience.

This was an outstanding day trip. All the staff were helpful, friendly and available. The day trip inclusions were awesome. There were a range of optional extras too. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available and accessible throughout the day. Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch consisted of a variety of delightful foods and there was plenty. The facilities and equipment were clean and well maintained. Great day out, would absolutely recommend it.

Couldn’t have chosen a better way to spend the day. We did a full day tour - Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Chill and Grill.
We boarded the boat at 7am, and had a reserved area for us. Information about the day were provided, as well as stinger suits for all. After that we were served a little morning coffee with fruits, yogurt, coffee and tea. We changed boats and went for a short guided walk to Hill Inlet - on the way our lovely and knowledgeable guide spotted spiders, and also gave us the opportunity to “taste” green ants! 😬 the view at the top of the hill is breathtaking! After that we headed to Whitehaven beach for the day where we had tents available, and a delicious barbecue . On the way back they also provided an afternoon tea with crackers, cheeses and meats! They made sure no one left that tour hungry! haha
Would highly recommend their services for anyone going to Whitsundays and the full day tour might sound like too long, but still absolutely worth it!

Great half day cruise experience. Plenty of seating on the boat and includes morning tea with food and drinks available for purchasing. Beautiful scenery while cruising and plenty of beach time at Whitehaven Beach

We did the full day P & O tour to Hardy Reef on Thursday and were thoroughly impressed with the company. We were picked up off the cruise ship and delivered back to it which was so easy - there was no need to organise tenders.

We managed to sneak in just before the cyclone which meant a rough rise through the open water. The staff were brilliant! They were lively and fun and attentive to anyone experiencing sea sickness.

We thought the setup at the pontoon was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed swimming around. My son has been studying the Great Barrier Reef in his Marine Science over the past 2 years and was delighted to see what he had learned about in real life. Swimming with the turtle was a highlight too! The food was much better than expected too! We thought it was worth every cent and well worth the trip to the Reef. Thank you for such an incredible and enjoyable experience!

Stunning and iconic Whitehaven Beach.
We did the full day cruise, and it was perfect. We spent the morning in the northern end of Whitehaven Beach + Hill Inlet lookout walk and the afternoon in the southern end of the beach. We had enough time to relax, chill, and paddle board. Lunch was delicious, too.

We had an absolute ball on the "Camira Sailing Adventure". The scenery and snorkelling were great, but the crew really made the day. The tour was great value for money; I would recommend this to anyone.

amazing service. We booked the reef suites out at the pontoon a year in advance because I wanted to be sure I got it!! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely beautiful. The food out there was to die for. so many options for activities out there. I wish I could stay out there longer!

We had a full day trip out to Whitehaven Beach, Hamilton Island and Daydream Island. Absolutely stunning. We swam on Whitehaven Beach in stinger suits ....that time of year. We also had lunch on Daydream Island and swam in the pool ....it was so refreshing. Highly recommend this experience. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Cruise Whitsunday.
