Had three visits to The Pub for dinner on our holiday...
Every meal was amazing,, the quality, quantity and atmosphere were top notch. Well done to the front end staff who managed our complicated orders... Loved the Steak and Ribs;meat lovers pizza, salad bar and chicken wings.
We also loved the Shania Twain tribute show, great sound, and the music was amazing..

Yummy lunch, clean tables and friendly staff. My rump steak was very tough but when I mentioned it to the lovely waitress it was replaced, no questions asked. The next one was perfect. Great customer service and looking forward to dining there again. Great customer service!

Absolutely outstanding food, the location was great. We had the rump steak cooked exactly to order, pork belly pizza which was massive and salt and pepper calamari which was cooked to perfection just melts in your mouth. The buffet is a nice bonus for some salad or something sweet for dessert. Great place for a feed and few lunchtime beers.

Loved it. Celebrated a birthday here. It was great. Live music on acoustic night was excellent. Food portions are huge.

Wonderful atmosphere, the live music is fantastic. It’s a ‘must do’ in anyone’s Airlie Beach trip. The food is delicious with generous proportions. The wings were amazing and the steak was to die for. I was very impressed with their extensive range of wine/ champagne/ cocktail & beer. I also noticed how clean and tidy the tables were. Staff are helpful and friendly. Perfect venue if hubby also likes to watch a game or two like mine does.

Boom! Smashed it! Great variety of food to choose from. With the option of the buffet with most meals you will not leave hungry and you definitely get value for your money. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a great night!

The food and place is great. Staff is friendly and well mannered. I enjoyed listening to the band, they provided excellent music.

If its your first time at Aurley Beach your not going to miss The Pub. End of the main drag with many tables inside and outside. GREAT place for a relaxing drink, great atmosphere, cold beer, goid food and live music at popular times. It is very modern, clean and has a vibrant feel. My group preferred the high tables outside for the ambience and view to the beach under the trees. You'll see what I mean when your there. Being a tourist dependant town this place can be packed, especially at popular times. The food was good with a snack menu operating all the time as well as a noon onwards menu which is more restaurant type bigger meals and some include the buffet. The meals that include the buffet are value. My sweet tooth was satisfied with a bowl of ice cream topped with heaps of soft jube lollies. There is an extensive bar with quick bar service. Easy to order food which was prepared timely and delivered professionally by staff. The staff were friendly and engaging. The food was good size portions, reasonably priced and tasty. We visited The Pub several times on our visit. Lots of eating premises nearby but I bet you end up visiting here at least a couple of time if you stay at Airley Beach. Can highly recommend knowing you'll have a good time having a quiet relaxing drink out the front watching the world pass by. Plus you be on holidays.....how do I know that....because your at Airley Beach.

Update 3 years later- Fantastic, fantastic! Cannot fault this place from the service to the food. Massive lunch crowd from the cruise ship handled perfectly.

Food was great! Seafood was awesome- fresh bugs and oysters. Nice atmosphere.

We sat at Table 1 on the night of the 1st of Jan. Ordered a rump steak and fish of the day. They told us it would be a 45 min wait but it ended up being served within 20 mins! The girl taking care of us was super lovely and the atmosphere of the pub was amazing. The food was tasty and we loved the choices for the buffet. We also got two drinks and they were delicious. Would’ve loved to have been there with live music but nonetheless we had a great time. Recommend coming here!!

Best beach bar I've been to in a VERY long time. Food was amazing. Rump steak was great and cut it with my butter knife, and the calamari was the BEST calamari I have ever had. It's almost as if they use mature squid that are larger, because each strip had an amazing bite to it. To top things off the gentleman on the acoustic guitar killed it, and played anything/ everything thrown at him. Stop here if you have the time

The food is absolutely amazing. The ribs fall off the bone and are super tasty. Looking around at other people's plates....its pretty evident that everything is mouthwatering. Highly highly recommend this place.

So Worthy for the Price!!!
I genuinely love this place. We booked it via open table website. Location is beautiful and modern. You have few choices of seating. They have a great bar and the menu is great! Vegans have options as well. When you pay for the mains, you'd get servings from the buffet. So for the price, it is so worthy!!! We highly recommend the place.

The best chips ever!! The sauce is included but if you order more, it’s 5 dollars.

Great atmosphere, and excellent food both in flavour and value, fish and chips and pizza were perfect, we will be going again during our stay, word to the unwise.. if you didn't like music go and sit in your room!!

Great food, live music was tasteful and appropriate, only downside was some inconsiderate young drunk girls screaming out song lyrics way out of tune.
I had sausages and mash, wife had seafood laksa. Both meals came out fairly quickly despite how busy it was.
Thoroughly enjoyed!

Totally brilliant especially on weekends.the only thing I struggle with and it appears to be in most places is the charge for using plastic it works out on $19.00 you pay 29 cents surcharge over a week it adds up,I think in supermarkets it is charged in the cost of goods. Also If driving in Airlie beach the people must give way to cars yet in Proserpine it's the other way round and as a visitor it is confusing.
