The Albert Street Uniting Church in Brisbane offers a captivating walk through a historically significant building with intricate architectural beauty. The stained glass windows and high ceilings are visually stunning, while the church's rich history adds depth to the experience. It feels like a place of peace when you’re in there sitting in the pews. Such a sanctuary for Christian’s to take a moment in worship and prayer. The two lovely ladies at the front where very helpful and let me know the church was open to the public during the day throughout the week. It’s a beautiful thing to know the Gospel is embedded in the history of Brisbane City.

Beautiful church. Unfortunately it was closed, but I love how t stands in between all the skyscapers. Amazing architecture.

The weather is great, very cool, there are kangaroo statues, and the scenery is beautiful

Albert St Uniting Church is not only a place of meditation and worship. It is also a warm, peaceful oasis in the midst of a busy city. And a magnificent building. Its vitraux and elaborate wood work are a delight to our sight and soul. A must see in the city.. !

Gorgeous building of church in the middle of Brisbane city. Never been following their service but this church really nice from outside. It is good too see they keep an ancient building in the middle of modern city.

An excellent friendly service is available this inner City Uniting ⛪ A really old traditional organ is played accompanied by the choir singing old hyms! An excellent beautiful old Church ⛪including a steeple!

Great structure building and designs of the church, first time to visit this magical place. So calm and quiet.

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony here and it was truly amazing. I can't speak highly enough of everyone involved. Lauren was fantastic and helpful when it came to organising the details. Rev Mel helped us with our enrichment course which was extremely insightful and informative. Rev Peter officiated our wedding and he did a tremendous job making our day special. Ian was a wonderful help greeting the guests and informing people of directions for the amenities. Finally the church is a beautiful building. Thank you everyone!

My husband and I had a very nice experience of getting married in Albert Street Uniting Church. Every single person we talked to was very kind and friendly. Ministers and admin officers were very experienced, and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to Rev. Graham Keech for running our wedding ceremony in such a lovely way, Rev. Peter for giving us a deep and comfortable marriage enrich education, Ms Lauren for organizing everything for us and Rev. Mel for taking care of our preparation and rehersal.

Attended an ecumenical Launch of Season of Creation 01SEP22 in this historic church. It is a sacred space in the centre of Brisbane. An inclusive Christian community which was very welcoming.

This beautiful building is a landmark of the Brisbane CBD. It’s history is rich. Love going there every week for church and to worship in our community. Come and check it out - Sundays at 4pm. Newlife Church.

I had my son baptist here, they have supplied a baptism candle and some gifts. We had a pram access so was quite easy to get around. I was very happy with the service which has been performed, definitely recommend.

The Uniting Church Basis of Union

The Uniting Church enters into unity with the Church throughout the ages by its use of the confessions known as the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. The Uniting Church receives these as authoritative statements of the Catholic Faith, framed in the language of their day and used by Christians in many days, to declare and to guard the right understanding of that faith.

I've come here for the Sing It Yourself Messiah almost every year since my first one. It's a great experience, whether you're in the choir or the audience. The chapel itself is pretty good too.
