Nautilus Pool Bar

This is the pool and bar at the excellent Westin Brisbane hotel. Apparently it's the only swim up bar in Brisbane, making for a great experience. It faces north so gets sun during the middle of the day, creating a resort style sunny feel. Gets quite busy during the day but being such a good spot, not a surprise.

Love this place! Took my friends from Melbourne and Tassie and they loved it too. The foods great and the atmosphere is excellent. The staff there is so so friendly. The best was their cocktails 👌

Really beautiful place and love the heated pool and excellent cocktails, I wish there was more availability of Cabanas and possibly storage for personal items

It’s okay but should never open to public. Guest at the hotel should be able to use this at best. The pools were super busy and crowded because of the daily pass and people put stuff on their chair we had to wait a few hours for the seats to be available.

I called to see if the public could use the pool bar, I was told yes, $39 allows you to use the pool and a free spritz. We go to the hotel and wait in line for ages, get the front and told we have to book online. There is no option to book online? The receptionist then goes and checks with her manager and comes back and very condescendingly says just this “one” time we can allow it. Please don’t speak to me like you’re doing me a huge favour when you advertise it as open to the public. The thing that upset us the most was the way we were spoken to. We had hoped to come back and stay one day but this has totally put me off.

We had a pretty bad experience here. We paid 29$ and got a drink included wich is very good. Now the drink was the worse I’ve ever tasted. There was no DJ, no space to lie down and the pool feels much smaller in real life - it was very crowded. The long haired man that appeared to be the main guy at the bar was extremely rude and yelling the whole time, taking away the last bit of atmosphere. 29$ is a great price, but not even worth it.
