casual place to chill and dine, friendly staff, limited selection for dining, enjoyed the delicious meal nevertheless.

Had breakfast here today. Service was fine but the food is delicious. Just basic eggs on toast and avo but the presentation and taste is amazing. Their sourdough is so nice and you can tell that I didn't come from a toaster 👏 literally my favorite brekky spot from now on.

One of the best places in the town to spend your evening and the celebrations that you have always wanted. It has one of the finest bartenders of the city like Gilbert, Dily, Filipino and Omar. The service team is amazing as well. The likes of Jack, Charlotte, Callum and the whole team is just Worthing chatting to and sharing your experiences . One liner-“Loved it”

Saturdays have live music, with this session being of jazz. No need to buy tickets nor to make bookings as like the other nearby places, A good place for classy drinks and to have snacks or meals.

Pretty nice dining experience. Nice sofa seats. Casual cafe setting. Enjoyable place to chill and relax. At 5-8pm, there is a 2man band with keyboard and saxophone to entertain the patrons. Lovely touch to a weekend evening.

August 2022: The Charles is the only restaurant located within the Westin, and is almost a secondary thought by the architect and designer. Tables are tiny and low, whilst chairs are bulky and high. Not ideally designed for a dinner. Maybe that's the idea. Food was however delicious, and only just fit on the table. Staff were super friendly and meals arrived slower than expected. We ate on Sunday night as a couple, and I had time to casually walk around the block to the local store to collect forgotten toiletries before the meals arrived. That said, if you cannot be bothered leaving the hotel for a meal, you'll enjoy this menu, even if a little overpriced.

This swanky bar in the lobby of the Westin is great for a relaxed drink or some nibbles. I have come here a few times and the food has been slower than I expected, but it is all delicious so it almost makes up for it. The staff have been very friendly every time, especially Diego, and are always very attentive. Best chips and aioli in the city.

This is the lobby bar at the excellent Westin Brisbane. Very trendy fitout with both indoor and outdoor seating. Opens out onto the street making for a great alfresco environment. Staff were really friendly and helpful when we visited the hotel in September 2022. Well worth checking out.

First try: Rude service, bad Chardonnay and a cockroach running around at the floor after rain.
Second try: Nicer service attitude. Rather good Club Sandwich with chips. Could have been a '3' if it weren't for the wait time for food (around 40 minutes).

Join as a member is hell. Everytime I go, staff had no idea with the membership. Takes my phone away for 10 to 20mins to ask and trying to find out what to do. .

Teach the staff please, almost 10 out of 10 times such poor experience

I'm not a foodie, I'm a writer and a health care practitioner. Admittedly, my diet is very selective. So,I find it challenging to eat in many restaurants, particularly lounges, because I don't drink alcohol.

Hence,I didn't comprehend why a desperate, agitated man dashed onto the patio and demanded an irrational sum of money for an EFTPOS machine.

He claimed he had a history of mental instability and supoosedly 'knew people'. The man I was talking to had no idea what he was referring to and neither did I.

This lounge FAILS to hire adequate security staff. Hence, any transient man can saunter off the street from his sleeping bag, falsely proclaiming to work for The Westin. I didn't realize the Westin catered to the growing homeless population in Brisbane until this experience. Although, the homeless do need money more than most people. So, if you ever venture to Mary Street in Brisbane City, don't forget to pay the homeless population. It's great for Life Insurance to have these people as friends, rather than Foes.

Even so, I did find the ambience at The Charles rather refined, with the exception of a few tawdry individuals.

Far from 5 star service at the lobby bar – indifferent service where Beard would rather lean against the bar yapping to fellow staff than do anything about performing table service.

We asked what time the bar was open until and was advised 1130pm, of course we returned from dinner upstairs at 1040 and were told the bar was shut. Hardly the actions of a so-called 5 star establishment.

If you stay at The Westin, find somewhere else to enjoy a drink rather than get ignored by indifferent staff that still think that their pathetic excuse for service is worthy of a tip.
