The best one stop shop grocery, meat, deli, steaks, seafood, bread, cheese, fruits and vegetable. Best selection of sauces, oils, condiments, spices and a large selection of olives, pasta, you have to see to believe it.
This place is one of the best in Brisbane for best quality of everything you need for special Occassion or for your everyday food.
They have dry aged steak to die for! A must try for meat lovers. The fruits and vegetables are the best quality at affordable prices.

This would have to be the most consistent and best value place to shop for veggies meat and anything else you need to eat. Deli cheese pasta etc. Shopped there today and finally got some excellent pork belly’s that have been in short supply to turn into bacon 😋

Beautiful selections of fresh fruit, meats and other foods. Their microwave-ready lasagnas are so good for how easy they are.

The best quality produce and an excellent range. The prices of the meat, fruit and veg very competitive with Woolworths opposite with the quality so much better.

Lovely store with always the freshest of produce. Love their pies!! And butcher section. Wagyu and Italian sausages are our favourite. Always buy their made pizza and variety of pastas.

The little bakery next to the main grocery store has these little dreams of sweetness that are perfect for a pick me up on the way.
The grocery store itself is just gorgeous in terms of variety, quality, peculiarity. Price reflects the extremely high quality of products.

Amazing selection of produce. Not the kinda place for average -Jo to do their weekly shipping though. Pretty pricey but excellent quality of course. A great place to find those unusual deli items you've been craving.

Very reasonably priced range of sourdoughs and the bread is of exceptional quality. Great range of good-quality, locally produced groceries. The bakery and deli are also lovely.

Fruit + vegetables are a little overpriced however great appearance and taste.

What a find! Was out and about after Christmas looking for a deli as our go to was closed. Tried The Standard and Oh My..... we will be back. Fantastic range of deli meats, cheeses salads. Amazing pantry aisles then there is the fruit and vegetables. And the butcher. Amazing. Will see you again soon

Best food shop in Brisbane. Great produce, huge variety but the best thing is the helpful staff. The deli girls at Newstead are fantastic. They advise on new products, help me find ingredients I need and inform me of other alternatives. It’s an enjoyable experience shopping at The Standard Newstead.

Always the freshest produce and friendly service by the team.

Excellent range of good quality staples, fresh produce and meats. Everything is bright and colourful and I don't find I have to bee too 'picky' when trying to select fruit and veg as it all looks great. Prices are what you would expect to pay in Newstead. A bit more pricey, but the quality also reflects this. Not a place I shop frequently, but somewhere I go to buy things for a treat yo'self dinner.

This market is one of my favourite to go to in Brisbane. It stocks interesting items, both local and international, that would otherwise be difficult to find. The deli, meat and cheese selection are great and have a large variety.

The price of some of the items are a bit expensive when compared to larger supermarket chains, but the convenient location and great range of product make up for it.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me as well.

I would highly recommend this place.

I love this market so much, I travel from North Brisbane just to ship here. They have the freshest produce and the best selection of delicious meats and ready to go salads. Perfect for your bbq needs. More on the pricey side, but you know youre getting good quality food.
