Bupa Medical Assessment Centre - Brisbane

I was nervous to visit here, especially after I read some comments on Google Maps. But everyone in the Bupa office was nice and kind. Especially, my doctor, Low (I hope I wrote right) was super nice and professional. When I couldn't understand something because of my poor English. She tried to explain in Korean. She is not Korean though. I really appreciate her work today. Thank you.

Ellyen(?)‘s blood test skill and all the stuffs were a quite perfect and she knows how i feel frustrated nowdays as foreigner here. I was so comfy with all the service i got from the rooms from Ellyen and other indian based doctor as well. They made me not feel nervous at all. Thanks.

P.S: Than i expected, its quite long waiting and location was 2nd floor. info desk's questions were useless and quite a rude. I could not understand why she asked me some private questions for what purposes 🤷🏻‍♀ please be careful to say something before u ask something to foreigners here, dear.

I have an appointment at Bupa visa service today at Brisbane centre, but unfortunately because of unseen condition I can’t proceed it today and need to reschedule it for another day, I really appreciate to Rachel for helping me reschedule it and help me to get the appointment scheduled to Southport which is closer from my home, she is really helpful, the way she was explain it very clear and she is very soft spoken. Keep it up Rachel.

The receptionist, Dr. Lana, Cecile, Anita and Francesca were really awesome. They were cheerful, patient, sweet, and really helpful.

Reading the reviews here before going in for my medical exam made me quite nervous, however, the mixed reviews did not reflect on my visit that day! Everyone I talked to was kind, welcoming, and sweet. I showed up very nervous and close to tears because I was dreading the blood test (i hate needles), they were all so patient with me and treated me with nothing but kindness so I could relax. The nurse (i’m so sad I did not catch her name) who gave me the blood test was beyond patient, she did not look down on me for being terrified and instead distracted me through the process and gave me the most painless blood test i’ve ever had in my life! (she even gave me a lollipop after :)) The rest of the exams were very straightforward and took about 45 minutes as they were not packed at all that day. The nurse who directed me to all the exam rooms were lovely and chatted with me to calm me down. The doctor examining me was so kind and even made sure many times i wasn’t feeling faint after the blood test because I was still looking nervous. 5/5 experience from someone who hates medical check ups! Thank you for the pleasant experience!

Everything was so smooth and professional. Staffs are amazing and treat me nicely. I was a bit nervous cause it is the first time for me to do health examination in other country but it’s fast and convenient, not horrible like my imagination at all

My wife had to have a medical today and she liked these guys as they were very professional in all they did...my wife especially liked the doctor and secretary very pleasant people to deal with

I know I’ve seen a mixed reviews and I get to go recently for my medical screening everything went smooth.
Everyone was welcoming, doctor made sure I was feeling comfortable.

Received impeccable customer service from staff and doctors. The service process runs smoothly.

After reading all the negative comments, I was a bit worried to go there, but I had a really great service! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, doctor was very patient and answered my questions and the place is very clean and comfortable, so really happy overall! Try to go there early (8am) and you won't need to wait too long
PS: the lady in the medical waiting room was such a gem, really bubbly and helpful!

I just want to say that Anita in your pre Mexican reception is absolutely fantastic. Clearly explained the process, helped out in anyway she could. Anita is a credit to your organisation. Thank you for the excellent service

Been here multiple times but in my last visit a lady in the reception named Cecile did amazing job. Absolutely happy with her service. She was very helpful and her outstanding performance to solve my issues will always be memorable. Thank you Cecile.👍

What a lovely clinic. The staff are amazing, they are very professional, effective and knowledgeable.

Everything is kept very clean and organised, the system is very effective and it doesn’t take long.

The clinic itself is very modern and clean which is very important in my opinion, when you’re about the be medically examined.

I had a good chat to the staff and they where nothing but lovely to chat with.

Had great experience today visiting the centre..everyone from reception staff to doctors are friendly, informative and provide clear instructions. I would like to thank especially Dr. Das who provided excellent service by making medical examination very relaxing. Overall very satisfied with the service and experience 👍🏼👍🏼

I saw the previous review and was really really nervous about doing my visa medical. I just want to say, that if you're coming here in Brisbane to do it, please do not worry. Everybody is super nice. Here's a run down I wish somebody had given me:
Check in with your passport and request form/HAP ID
Be given a number for when they call you into each section
You'll be given a clipboard with your forms and passport attached as well as keys to a locker and access to a changing room. You only need to change into a temporary medical top, no full gown, and no going full naked (Unless for some reason they needed to request that for some reason)
You just sit down, get called, sit down, get called, sit down, get called, then leave.
Generally, if yours is basic, it will be like mine where you first do a chest x-ray, which is very quick, you just stand in front of a box, breath in, and it's done in under a minute. The second call in is for a general check, height, weight, blood pressure, having blood drawn for testing/HIV test and a urine sample. Third call in is a general check up, listing any conditions or medication, listen to your heart, your lungs, press around your body etc.

After seeing the 1 star review, I thought it'd be a good idea to leave my own so that nobody else goes into it feeling as nervous and unsure as I did. Everybody whom I spoke to was very very nice, and the whole thing was done within 45 minutes.

Incredibly swift service I was in and out in 45 minutes. Their very efficiently set out with pleasant waiting rooms. There are on site lockers for personal belongings which helps. The staff are all very friendly and made me feel comfortable, even the staff taking blood!

Very polite and professional staff. Waiting times were pretty much nonexistent. Dr's/nurses were also very professional, polite and efficient! Cannot fault them.

Professional, kind and very understanding staff. Went all the way from Melbourne to get the medical examination done. And I was surprised with the very pleasant experience. Made my day ❤

Kind, caring and very efficient staff. My son was anxious about having his bloods taken and they were very attentive and patient. Positive experience from us both.
