The spirit of us all in a beautiful celebration..

We just did surprise wedding vow renewal for mum & dad in February to celebrate their 53 years together. Both bride & groom were in tears, so happy. It brought back lots of memories for them and especially my father who was an alter boy back in the 1940's. He's now 86. We also watched KISS in concert (through binoculars) in 1980 on the church lawns as well as 'Skyfire' with our parents and then my own children. Great memories. My aunty & Uncle also got married here.

It's amazing that church seems to float in the air from the distance. That's how I found out there was a Catholic church nearby. It's beautiful inside, and the mass with the organ, its songs and the choirs are amazing.

A magnificent Brisbane landmark. The church is over 100 years old, as is the attached Saint Vincent de Paul Chapter. The back of the church has history and photos of the church, and now includes history of the Saint Vincent de Paul chapter. The church has a wonderful choir and organ that can be heard each Sunday at 10 am mass. One of the best choirs in Brisbane.

Magnificent edifice with a splendid crucifix suspended over the sanctuary. Heaps of parking lots available for parishioners and visitors. There is a bronze sculpture of Archbishop Duhig at the back. Refreshments are often served under the shelter to the left of the church.

It’s designed by Robin Dodd a famous architect who has combined classical gothic and Norman motifs with British arts and crafts movement
Some claim that this design is based on the French cathedral in Albi but this claim has been refuted by leading architect

For me after 3 consecutive Sunday sessions I love it I take a friend who is a Catholic the choir is truly impressive absolutely awesome great experience 4me cheers John 😅
