We spent 3 days in the hotel and ate here 4x and every single meal was a culinary experience! The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh, simple, beautiful presentation, nice waitstaff and stunning views. What else can you wish for… We can highly recommend their burrata, beef tartare, fish of the day, steak, seafood pasta dish and the strawberry dessert.

Where do I begin? Holy moly!
The foods, the cocktails, the sunset view and the impeccable service was just mind-blowing. Definitely worth the price we paid for. The showstopper was 100% the Seafood Platter. Loved the fresh oysters. Normally it does not taste good in alot of places but I loved the ones they served here. Kudos to the team. Thank you and we will be back 🥰

Excellent food, service, wine and setting.
Beautiful in the evening with tables set around a pool with views out to a pretty boardwalk.
Take you special one walk the boardwalk and pop that important question.
Truly a fantastic place.
Also think about staying here as the coral sea resort is lovely.
Easy walk from Airlie beach.

My wife and I had eaten here at lunch, with a small seafood platter that was simply to die for. Such great value beside the pools and very well done. It was fantastic and just right at the top of the experience that we had with the resort.

Coming for dinner we had high expectations and had a couple of hiccups. We spoke to the manager and agreed to try again and I have to say they nailed it better than all the other experiences. The service was perfect, they didn’t hover enough to be intrusive yet were very attentive and just seemed to magically appear when you thought you would need something. One might suggest they were on their toes with us but looking around the venue it was clear the whole place was a the top of its game. Everyone seemed happy, well timed and well taken care of.

We ordered the steaks which was among the best, and these I’ve had in quite a few places. It was a cooked to perfection and such a unique flavour that is memorable. We had some great wine from a brilliant selection and even the salad was amazing.

The view needs its own special mention. Arriving just before sunset the views alone at worth coming just to have a snack and a few drinks. The ambience is warm and welcoming and you could easily spend the night just around the spectacular pool and small beach area admiring the views.

It made the experience and now we can wait to come back before the end of the year already. Thank you to all it was a great night and we celebrated my wife’s birthday in memorable style.

What a cool place to have dinner and watch the sunset. It was one of the pricier places we went to for dinner but the food was of a very high standard. We had the ceviche, the rocks special beef, octopus, broccolini and the truffle fries were a standout.
It’s a nice place to celebrate an occasion or treat yourself.

We did go for the buffet breakfast one morning which was a pretty much like every other one I’ve been to before but a stand out was the home made beans. My partner really liked the scrambled eggs.

Service was really good and very friendly. Our 7 months old really enjoyed the attention from the wait staff.

This place literally made my day. Had a last minute changes to my plans and discovered the Coral Sea Hotel offers a day pass at the Rocks Restaurant for $25.
I spent my (almost) entire day there. The sunbeds are great, if you go early you'll have a better chance having the spot with ocean view. The pool itself is gorgeous to look at. You can order food directly from the sunbed or have lunch at the restaurant. Live music in the afternoon. I seriously had an amazing day. Thank you

Best restaurant in Airlie Beach! Requires a bit of a walk because it's out of the way but also means it's quite relaxed and empty. The view is amazing of the bright blue Airlie Water and you can swim in the pool with a pool pass which also gives you a free cocktail. The staff were amazing and the food was tasty, especially the fish tacos. Would definitely come again!

Most wonderful experience to have a cocktail at sunset followed by a beautiful meal. We had fish of the day, with carrot salad, grilled Brussels sprouts and baked aubergine… delicious!
Followed by a platter of amazing desserts.
Nick, our waiter provided excellent service…. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic dinner here for our anniversary. Everything was delicious. Only fault was probably mine as we tried most of the entres but wanted them stepped as courses -got them all at once. Thought this made for a tastey race against thermal exchange. Would highly recommend you try the same, sans the race, so be clear how you want the courses to go and you can enjoy at a leisurely pace.

Beautiful luxury restaurant next to a pool and the beach. Night vibes here are great and makes me forget about my worries. Pricey, but worth it for an experience once in a while. Cocktails were great and easy to drink.

Fabulous little spot for watching the sunset. Couldn’t figure out how to get to the bar/restaurant but you go through the coral resort and down the stairs. Very relaxed atmosphere, and the bar snacks were amazing!

My partner and i stayed at the coral sea resort for a week and came to the rocks everyday for breaky by the pool/beach for the great views. Breakfast was good, the view was great but the staff were even better, the manager Mauro made the experience a 10/10. He went above and beyond with any request and made you feel a warm welcome. Would return👌

We went there for our entrees on our progressive dinner on a Tuk Tuk.We arrived 1/2 before sunset,so we could get settled with a cocktail and our Antipasto plate that was pre ordered before we got there. The waitresses were very friendly. There is a lift,if you can't walk up the steps. The view was amazing...

The views are great (next to the pool and the sea!) and service was lovely. Food was good, too. We had breakfast: smashed avocado and eggs benedicts. It should be a good place to watch the sunset

Best service, great food and wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter Mirko was so good we went back a second time and he didn’t disappoint, he’s one of the best waiters we’ve ever had (and we’re from Melbourne and have travelled a fair bit). Great spot to watch the sunset, beautiful pool and relaxing outdoor eating area. Our food was incredible, and they did well to cater to a gluten and onion intolerant individual! Definitely 5 stars!

Oh my goodness this is a gorgeous place to spend the day by the pool. Cocktails and music 🎶 sunshine and swimming it is in the primo location in Airlie Beach. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food is devine. It's a must if you are in Airlie

Best resraurant in Airlie!
5 star food, 5 star views and 5 star service. We were almost deterred by the 1 star Google reviews but we decided to try anyway. Glad we tried our luck because this was the best restaurant experience of our entire trip! I'm not sure if the restaurant has simply taken the negative feedback on board or if we just got lucky with the night and particular staff but we couldn't fault anything. I should mention that customers should be more understanding since covid has hit so many businesses so hard, but the staff on our night out were simply lovely and so attentive! Inspired by a French chef most meals are for tasting distinct flavours in your mouth as opposed to large food portions most Aussies may be used to. However the lamb shoulder was huge as a standalone dish for 2. The sticky date the best ever. The entrees of raviolo and onyx beef were out of this world. And the foccacia just melted in our mouths. All the while the sunset colours formed magic in the background. Truly a fantasy experience in a serene destination. Give this place a go and try your luck because you may get one of the best restaurant experiences of your life. $240 for 3 entrees a main each 4 cocktails and a dessert is reasonable IMO. We ate heavy and left super satisfied. Thank you to all involved. Will definitely be back next time we're in Airlie!!
