This place is fire! Great Breakfast / Brunch menu, fresh quality ingredients cooked perfectly! Delish!

Thank you Google for showing us such hidden gems. Walked past this alley multiple times and wouldn't even know there would be such a comfy little cafe at the end with great food and honest service.
We sat down at the bar for a lovely meal, had a chat with the owner and/chef Brad and chatted with staff.
The moment we were seated, we were attended and we were made very comfortable, welcome, and the picks from the menu explained.
There was nothing to hide. Food was prepared in front of us with great picks and ingredients.

Very chill and well hidden away on a random alleyway at Elizabeth St. The vibe was fantastic with that sort of "old charm" full of old furniture and a proper place with stools for those who like to eat solo.

The omelette was piping hot and absolutely delicious, with the bacon cooked to perfection, and the coffee (a large flat white) being smooth and served at the perfect temperature. Definitely getting the toast with it next time.

The staff was absolutely lovely as well! Appreciated getting water immediately after getting a table.

Great coffee, delicious bacon and egg bagel and cosy modern atmosphere. Loved finding this place tucked down an alleyway on my way to work.

This coffee shop is tucked away in a narrow lane. The ambiance exudes nostalgia. I decided to try their omelette with avocado and halloumi, and it was absolutely delicious, particularly the halloumi which had a wonderfully soft texture. Additionally, I ordered a long black coffee, and it was also fantastic in taste.

Lovely atmosphere, that is away from the hub-hub of city streets. Nice and relaxed for someone like myself that isn't big on loud/crowded spaces.

Great portion sizes and lovely food, not to mention the coffee/hot chocolates were heavenly.

We saw this address in lonely planet and we were not disappointed. We had avocado on toast, flat white, ice latte, smoothie, banana bread and salad. All was delicious. The insane is quite cosy and there are also some tables outside.

Great spot busy in morning rush but awesome coffee and Bagels. Had the smoked trout bagel. Good service too.

Great food! I mean, more like amazing. We ordered A Smoked trout with a poached egg for breakfast. Great combination of flavours. A shared plate served on two separate plates. Good coffee and yummy almond biscuits for just 2 dollars each.

Rueben sandwich was nice though would have liked more meat to balance flavors and fill the sandwich. Coffee was good.

This spot is HIDDEN GEM in Brissy! Awesome coffee, especially their bagel menus spectacular! It was the best bagel I've ever had, try theirs. Please!

Strauss is Fantastic! They have a nice selection of food and excellent coffee. If you are a batch brew fan, try theirs, it's spectacular. It's the right spot for a business meeting or to get some work done on your own.

Hidden gem in a lane. A quiet and chilled space, even over the busy breakfast period. The staff are super lovely and the food and coffee are delicious.

Just had Breakfast & Alm Latte. Was simply amazing. Avocado Toast on GF.. so much flavour & the Dukkah was the best finish. Thanks Guy's, see you when I get back to Brisbane ♥

Hidden deep down a laneway, this gem of a cafe is a place you'll regret walking past. I had come with a friend for brunch and we were welcomed nicely by staff. The cafe draws you in with the smell of fresh coffee and the cosy atmosphere. I had started with a latte which had the perfect amount of froth and tasted amazing. I then ordered the Avocado toast. The clean and simple presentation of the dish was extremely mouth-watering. The rye bread had a crunchy crust while having a fluffy inside. The combination of flavours were exceptional - from the fresh avocado and marinated feta drizzled with lemon, it was very pleasing on the tongue. The pricing is fair as the dish had the perfect portion while also using high-quality ingredients. Overall, I believe Strauss is one of the best cafes in the Brisbane CBD and recommend this place to everyone.

Great coffee. Small but very good breakfast menu. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Hint: it's at the end of a narrow laneway off the main street without great signage, be careful not to walk past.

Brissy's best kept secret - a blink and you'd miss it Cafe with awesome coffee (and a piccolo only works with a good blend and a good barista) and the best home-made Granola I've had for ages. I'll come back for sure.
