Kedron Brook Wetlands Reserve

Great place for a walk, bike ride, or bird watching

Excellent reserve with grassed tracks for observing a range of birds, upto 40 species can be seen in close proximity. Good for photography.

Great area for wildlife, bird watching, walking, jogging and cycling. No seating, a pleasant walk which is partly sealed, and do take water with you

I’m pretty sure the wetlands are cool, but the directions to them ended with us in a roundabout traveling 40km/h. There’s got to be a parking spot somewhere, but we failed to identify it while driving on an unfamiliar side of the road, and gave up.

Not much there other than large expanse of grass plains and swamp on one side of the bike path and Kedron Brook on the other. No facilities (nearest water fountains even are on either end of the bike path - 7km long, worth remembering if intending to ride or walk the length) and very limited walking tracks through the reserve itself.

Birding can be variable

No access to wetlands. No parking. Right next to a highway and roundabout.
