Event Cinemas Brisbane City

It was great! It was clean and good the people were very nice. The temperature in the cinema was a bit cold for my doing but im always cold haha.

Clean entry, stairs, toilets and cinemas. Attentive staff. Good sound and picture experience in cinemas. Very comfortable reclining seats with footrest. Reasonable prices.

We went to Vmax, seats somewhat comfy just the headrest for shorter people is quite prominent.
But size and leg room, perfect, even for some one my height.

Sound system is good although voice audio sounds like it comes from the front so can seem abit distant if you're sat at the back.

If you use Vmax I'd sit in front part of back half or back half of front part. Because you're also quite high up at the back.

Great experience the screen was super clear, we watched Napoleon and couldn't fault the picture quality or the sound.

In future would sit closer that's all.

I went to see the Chinese sci-fi movie The Wondering Earth 2. And I was a fantastic experience. The self tickets printing machine works well. And the seats are bigger than cineplex. They also have many other Asian movies too.

Perfect place to watch movies! Good sound clear place, comfortavle chair!! Thumbs up. One more popcorn and snack store is good!!

Gr8t students prices and good perks plus clean and comfortable and they have hotdogs and 3d films

Fabulous location. Great sound system. Good quality seats. Special parking fee for movies goers. Friendly service. I would recommend to watch movie here if you are in the city.

Great service, I lost my ticket and the man at the front was nice and kind enough to help me get another. He was polite and a very easy person to have a conversation with.

Clean cinemas with big screens. Great for family move night. Very friendl staff too.

Good cinema experience. Very central location if that's what you're looking for. Was chasing a specific film that wasn't showing anywhere else and they had it here so that's added an extra star. 😉

Great night out with the kids seeing transformers and staying at the Pullman. Very enjoyable.

The cinema itself was tidy and clean.
The seats are comfortable, there was a nice about me leg room.
The popcorn was warm, salty & fresh.
The ice creams were just the right amount of frozen.

You are, the Cinema, I could watch you forever!!! Well at least the duration of the movie that I have paid to see. The lead up to this cinema is very intense, many stairs to walk up, or if you like, the elevator to shoot you up there real quick. The open planned living is appropriate and standard. The snack bar is there. But the movies are top notch. The Ushers are actually useful and tell people to STFU (in a nice way obviously, without swearing) if they are talking when they shouldn't be. They also tell people to put their phones away as soon as the movie starts, which I rather enjoy. Nothing worse than paying for a ticket to watch a movie, then being disturbed by some idiot that wants to use the cinema as a dark room for them to text their dog! (and of course have their screen brightness on maximum because it is so hard to see the display in such a dark room isn't it!?)

Yes, well, this cinema is delightful. 9/10

Love this place when in the city for lunch

this is one the BEST movies cinemas I know and have been going too for over 30 years. I loved coming here as a kid with my mum to see lots of Disney movies as a little girl. the gold class and 3D movies are good to see you will like seeing a movie here to kill time.

Located at the top of the Myer Centre event cinemas boast a number of screens including V-max within one of the great shopping precincts within Brisbane.

I will flag that when I attended the 'box office' had been shut down and all ticket pick-ups were being directed through the food/retail area which slowed progress down for ticket pick-up. However the cinemas themselves are well cared for, screens are correctly ratio'd for the size of the room and the sound is great.

Great choice of movies always in a sophisticated and dynamic setting. The screens and seating are awesome and the cinema sound the best I've heard the explosions in the action film I recently saw shook my seat. After the movie there is all the excitement of Queen Street mall!
