If you’re a Catholic living in Brisbane, this is probably the most reverent church to attend in the area (tied with the Byzantine rite in the city).

If you are not Catholic, give it a go anyway. You’ll be met with a stunning choir, faithful priests, wonderful community and awesome group of faithful and traditional young adults.

Best Catholic Church in Brisbane. Very welcoming and supportive community. Traditional Latin Mass celebrated with the utmost reverence - one of very few places in Queensland. Exceptional clergy who are as selfless as they are well-read. Brilliant choir/s that sing hymns and Gregorian chant. It is no surprise that this church keeps growing.

Mary Immaculate Annerley has wonderful and holy men leading the faithful. If you have an appreciation for beautiful sacred music you’ll hear it here.

One of the most beautiful Catholic churches in Brisbane. They have lovingly restored the statues and altar rails and many of the beautiful candles. The liturgy here is reverant and the choir is Heavenly - visit the 10am Sunday Mass to hear the beautiful polyphony and chant of the Latin Mass. The congregation is always packed with young people and families, it's a bustling community.

The 10:00 Mass is absolutely transcendental. One of the most beautiful and Holy liturgies in Brisbane.

The Oratorians are doing a fine job in building a thriving, holy parish in Annerley.

I read below that someone was disgruntled by his experience , but all I can say in all honesty, is that I have never encountered judgement in any form.Goodness gracious!, these pius good, sincere Priests seek the salvation of our souls and Our Lord Himself Is In The Confessional, Granting to those who are humbly repentant, Absolution from sin!. We need to be counselled, exhorted to keep on the Straight and Narrow, for wide and perilously easy is the road to Perdition.

My wife and I , attended our first traditional Latin mass at 4pm in October 2022 by chance , liked it so much , kept coming back , I dress more modesty now for mass and my Kimberly wears a veil,

True salvation of souls is offered with the Fathers at Annerley. This church and the community is the reason I have come back to the faith. Praise be to God for these holy men.

Love the building & it looks beautiful and was planning to go to church on Sunday but we stayed on the week days not weekend at Annerley Motor Inn, so my wish to go was not fulfilling.I prayed that, one Sunday I will go to church there.

What a blessing, Latin Mass available here with the Oratory!!! Great vibrant parish and so welcoming. Highly recommended if you are new to Brisbane or looking for a new parish to be a part of.

This church is home to the Brisbane Oratory in formation. The Oratory fathers and broader church community are dedicated to fostering excellent liturgy (in both forms), good catechesis, frequent availability of the sacraments, and a buzzing community of young adults and families.

This is how mass should be. Beautiful architechure, music but most importantly the litergy is very sacred and homily talks about salvation and how we can achieve it. No sugar coating just plain simple catechism. Compulsory Communion on toungue is very important

Fantastic community, daily reverent Masses in both forms (Ordinary and Extraordinary, English and Latin), frequent confession, Monday night talks and fellowship after 7pm Mass (including pub nights once a month) -- thriving parish. Attracts individuals and families of all backgrounds, nations and ages. 3 amazing priests and several seminarians, plus multiple vocations to the new Benedictine monastery in Tasmania. Sound theology and exquisite sacred music -- especially Gregorian chant in pride of place, as mandated by Vatican II. What more could you ask for? Look up "Frassati Verso L'Alto - Monday nights" and "Flores Teresianes (Flowers of Thérèse)" on Facebook for the well-organised and welcoming young adult groups (young women's group meets monthly for dinner and a talk, with a priest in attendance). Since the coming of the oratory to MI church a new liturgical culture has flourished
Mostly masses are celebrated in the 1962 extraordinary form in Latin as well as English masses
Very accomplished musicians provide sonorous chants to aid the worship
Currently 2021 booking s are needed for the major feasts such as Christmas midnight mass
Regular masses accomodate walk ins!
