Great fish and chips restaurant which is locally owned. Very popular with locals for pickup. A good selection of fish available. Food was excellent and reasonably priced for the portion size. Served fresh, hot and great presentation. Lots of outside seating available with a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

I missed them while they had their annual (well deserved) break. Open today and I went it this evening to say hello to Stace and get some fresh prawns to make a pizza.
The freshest and the best! Never had a bad meal here and love supporting locals.

A hidden jewel of a place, generous serves and quality that stands head and shoulders over the competition.

Had dinner one night and was impressed, came back on the weekend and tried their burger with the lot -just wonderful.

Really fine fresh seafood, beautifully cooked plus a selection of premium salads.
Location is near a fairly busy road and under cover but not for bad weather.
For a casual meal it is great, we crossed town to eat there at the weekend.

Definitely my favourite fish and chip shop in a long time. So sad to be moving out of the area because it will be so hard to top this place. Fish is always cooked perfect, portions are amazing and the seafood salad is always fresh 😌

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had. I had the cod and the batter was crispy and the fish was tender and flaky. The chips were pretty good too, but the fish was the standout

We went for Fish N Chips and boy! It was delicious! Would highly recommend to go for Barramundi with chips & seafood salad. And the service was also great. He was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back again.

My wife and I went for lunch and had crumbled schnapper, chips and calamari everything was freshly cooked and just night for my taste: juicy fish, tender calamari and perfect chips. My new fish and chips go to place.
I went back today for grilled snapper and chips. Perfectly grilled fish and the chips were sensational. A place with a big turnover can have really hot oil for chips that are crisp outside and soft inside.

I had the snapper and chips. Fish was well cooked and seasoned, with a lovely sweetness. Batter light, golden and crunchy. Chips, well seasoned, nice and crunchy.

Possibly the best fish & chips my wife and I have ever had. Incredibly fresh and tasty seafood, friendly service and impeccably clean restaurant. Highly recommend checking this place out! Our favourites were the seafood salad and crumbed calamari.

Pouring with rain did not dampen the experience. Settled on a pack for 2. Generous serve with having both barra and snapper battered the barra was the stand out and highly recommended. Would come back just for the barra. But chips were perfect with yummy calamari and prawns. So many things to try on the next visit. Came all the way from Graceville on a Monday and so pleased we did. If you want good quality fresh fish this is the place. Father and son business and they want you to be satisfied and we were. We'll be back

Enjoyed our fish and chips at The Barra Boys. The service was quick and they really knew their seafood. The food was very tasty and fresh and cooked in a reasonable time. Will definitely go again.

I was extremely impressed. I can’t recall ever having a better meal of fish, chips and salad! The quality, flavour, crispness and seafood freshness was faultless. I’ve driven past many times but decided to finally stop and try it, and glad I did. I totally recommend this place. I’ll perhaps even go out of my way next time I feel like good fish and chips.

What a wonderful experience! Barra boys are warm & friendly and love what they do. The atmosphere is chill lay back decking style dining. Sit back with a cold beer in hand and fill your belly with fresh fish cooked to perfection 👌😁 Highly recommend... 😁

Open Mondays! And every other day. These guys are out to please the fish and chip lover! Eat in or take out. The battered barramundi is fabulous. Chips light and crispy. Parking at rear and on side street. Will dine again.

Dropped in for lunch with my son , had the tackle boxes. Lots of food ! Very nice indeed. Staff/Owner very nice.
The only suggestion (not a criticism) the veranda roof may need a way to deflect the heat of the day as it was very warm today and the veranda was starting to get uncomfortable. But as I say it is a great spot for great F&C's.
