Lifeplace

I've been a part of Lifeplace for about 9 years now. On my very first day someone kindly took me under their wing and made me feel right at home. I find there is a really genuine sense of care and community at Lifeplace. If you visit on a Sunday you will find friendly faces to welcome you, great live worship, teaching with relevance and depth, a thriving kids ministry and good hot cup of coffee in the cafe! Being a part of this church has been exciting and such a blessing to me

We are a young family with two kids 8 & 2. Since coming to Lifeplace Church over 9 months ago, we love the genuine and authentic feel of the people. The messages are inspiring, practical and easily applicable to everyday life. We love the worship. Our children can't wait to go to the kids church every Sunday morning. My wife is involved with the women's ministry called Brighter and loves it. We love our church.

Lifeplace is a truly gospel-centred church that welcomes everyone from any background to be part of its community. My family and I have been blessed by having Lifeplace as our home church. This is a place where Christ lives at the centre and everyone seems to have a heart for loving and accepting new comers. We started coming to Lifeplace after finding it on Google just over a year ago and since then God's been manifesting His love in our family life day after day. I love this place for its authenticity, loving heart and centricity in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fairly new church (10 years) , with an ever growing and welcoming sense of community. While being quite a small church in relation to much larger mainstream churches, it still encompasses great qualities, such as excellent music; beautiful architecture design and delicious cafe meals. Lifeplace is highly focussed on the importance of community, as most participants will grab a coffee and have a good 'catch-up talk' with their close friends. The music was excellent with an expanse of instruments and talented musicians, playing loudly and proudly for the Lifeplace congregation. We were welcomed personally and warmly by some members, making us feel right at home... And the tasty Cafe meal did not disappoint our taste buds. One noticable feature would be the wide variety of you men and women (20's) and a lack of elderly people, most likely due to the loud music. Overall, it is a great community space to grow for people who enjoy loud worship music and bible rooted preaching.

Felt at home straight away. We were welcomed with such warmth. The atmosphere created causes a desire to stay and enjoy the excellent coffee & delicious menu. The praise & worship is Holy Spirit inspired . The pastors teach truth & application of the truth. The focus is loving our community. We love this church & praise God for leading us here.

Lifeplace has been our home for about 4 years now & from the second we first visited we have felt welcomed & part of the family.

Sunday services are always amazing with sound, encouraging & challenging teaching, amazing times of worship & great food & community afterwards.

We recently moved to Brisbane and were so happy to find Lifeplace! We feel at home at Lifeplace and have seen Jesus' love in the people there by the way we were welcomed, by the passion in the worship music, and thought/action provoking sermons. The sermons are relatable and I loved the recent sermon series on how to live life more abundantly. I think its a good sign that every time my husband and I leave church we are excited to talk about what we learned and how we can apply what we learned to our life to make it more abundant and Jesus-centered! The church doesn't feel so big that you get lost in the crowd and in our experience of introducing ourselves to people, we've been met with nothing but love and friendliness. And bonus: they have a cafe there where you can stick around after the worship service to order some breakfast, lunch, coffee, or dessert :)

It's more then just a building with four walls, it's life, friendship, support, love and acceptance. Lifeplace is truly a place to call home. My husband and I have been apart of the church for approximately 3 years and it was the best decision we made. We Love this place and you will to... come and check it out!

The right place to be.

Those people have zero respect for people living in the neighbourhood. They play awful extremely loud music without any care for others. Very selfish and disrespectful people.
