Royal Albert

Highly recommend this magical hotel in the heart of Brisbane City.
With it's beautiful old world character and charm in a magnificent Heritage listed building which has a great history in the city.
Superbly located and easy to get to via public transport.
Super friendly and excellent staff who are too happy to accommodate any requests they can fulfill.
Huge spacious comfortable rooms that have all amenities as well as being self contained while being superbly modeled and ornately finished to keep in character with the building's heritage past.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Very spacious unit, with a full kitchen, a dining area, nice bathroom and a separate laundry. The bed was extremely comfortable, with extra pillows in the cupboard. We personally enjoyed reading the history about the hotel, which was all explained in a coffee table book.
A little maintenance needed, but would happily stay there again as we loved the heritage of the hotel.

Fabulous place to stay in the centre of Brisbane. I have very bad knees, the room we were originally assigned had 4 stairs. No good for me and my knees so we asked for another room and the staff graciously changed rooms for us. Cafe mondial is out of the front of the cafe and we had breakfast there.

I really liked staying at this place. It made me feel Royal. The reception was excellent, room service and just the rooms themselves were top notch. The rooms have been designed like actual royal suits in Dubai or some of those countries in the Middle East. They did very well. The entire apartment is quite spacious and plenty of room to do whatever you what to do. Kitchen has everything you need (like an actual home), they cleaning of rooms were done on time. I loved how high we were and the fact that we were literally across Queen street mall: honestly, I felt like we were on Queen street mall. It was so much fun staying here. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience Brisbane night life and the real Brisbane. It’s amazing. Goooo Royal Albert…keep doing your thing!!! Well done!!

We booked this apartment online and stayed in room 309. Huge size with kitchen facilities, laundry facilities, including washing machine and dryer, separate bathroom. The king size bed was very comfortable and there was a dining table couch and desk for computer. Very central location on the corner of Albert and Elizabeth Street Brisbane. Would definitely recommend staying here as it is excellent value for money.

Fantastic classic beauty in the heart of Brisbane. The rooms are beautiful, huge, marble bench tops, antique furniture, ceiling roses, big bathrooms, baths, the works. Reception is in the same style. Staff friendly and parking cheap. Literally 100 metres from the Queen St Mall.

Location location location!!! This is the perfect hotel and I have no idea why you'd stay anywhere else when visiting the Brisbane CBD. Located in the heart of Queen Street Mall area everything is easy to get to - shops, restaurants and even South Bank is just a short walk or e-scooter ride away! The hotel itself is heritage style with enormous rooms and kitchenette conveniences. The beds are comfy, there are laundry facilities in the room and it's basically apartment living suitable for couples, families or solo. Will be back!!

everything about the hotel is summed up in ‘old world charm’. The second bedroom isn’t spacious but serves it’s purpose with everything else being in character with the turn of the previous century

It’s located at the heart of Brisbane CBD, opposite to old Myer centre.
Very spacious in any size of room.
Staffs are always very friendly and helpful.
I always try to book here whenever I’m in Brisbane.

The best steak I have eaten at a pub in a Brisbane. Tipped the chef - it was THAT good. Nothing short of 5 stars. I’m a local now and I’ll be back EOD! 🔥 PS: Great portion size!

The rooms were big, the staff were all very nice and helpful, the aircons worked so well which was important for us! Perfect location for CBD . we will stay there again in future

Great atmosphere in a surprising location smack bang in the middle of Brisbane.
Interesting decor in line with the theme of the hotel, staff were pleasant, room was good.

Amazing location! We are obsessed with hotels that try and keep as much of their original fixtures and fittings as possible and the ROYAL ALBERT has kept this very much in line.

The staff at the Royal Albert are phenomenal!! Attentive, they go the extra mile, very friendly & accommodating. Whilst the hotel isn't very modern, it offers a comfy bed, a good hot shower, great location & perfect for a short stay in Brisbane. Highly recommend and the staff really do make it.

Love this place, have stayed quite a few times over the years. Staff always helpfull and it's so close to the mall and waterfront.

Very lovely staff, large beautiful rooms, close to shops, casino and train station.
Would highly recommend.
